Easily the best Mediterranean restaurant in the area. For that matter on all of Long Island! Spectacular food in a cozy, clean setting. Served by the loveliest family at a reasonable price. When you give Shish Kabob Grill a try you will have no regrets! (5*) Oh! I almost forgot…municipal parking is close by. ?

DO NOT GET FOOD HERE! I even gave them the opportunity to make it right before posting this review... I rarely ever write reviews, but was drawn to upon walking in. The place STINKS of MOLD! I spent $30 on a beef lamb gyro platter, a 12 oz chicken soup, and a small greek salad. The gyro meat was diced up and BURNT! The salad was a bunch of iceberg lettuce with a few pieces of cabbage in it and barely any feta cheese, no tomato's, no onions, and the dressing tasted like pure olive oil. It was supposed to come with rice pilaf and instead it came with WHITE RICE drenched in olive oil with peas in it!! I They also gave me a pita that was hard as a rock and inedible... I threw out my food after 3 bites, and as I write this stomach is killing me after just eating a tiny bit of it. I was immediately going to write a review but decided I'd give the place an opportunity to make it right so I called them and told them what happened. Their response was we don't burn our gyro meat and we don't put any tomatoes or onions in the greek salad!!!! I asked them to refund my money, and their response was if I bring the food back they will make me a new one but won't refund it. I live 20 minutes away, and was not about to spend another hour of my life coming back there to get a new one. I again asked them kindly to do the right thing and refund my money, they refused and said I don't have to come there any more!!! No worries I'll never be back. So scary that places can operate like this. I asked him where the owner was. and he told me he doesn't live there he lives in another country... I guess that's why it's so bad.

Today I had lunch in the town of Roslyn.I ate at shish kebab. Probably the best Greek salad with lamb Gyro meat I ever had. Everything was fresh and delicious. Can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.

Was working remotely and hadva hankering for a falafel sablndwich. My wife and daughter were in the mood for chicken kebab sandwiches. So rather than going to Bayside for my Greek food fix, I went locally and grabbed takeout at Shish Kebab Grill. Service was quick and the people were friendly. The food was spot on and went down easy. The only complaint I have is the portion size of their gyro sandwiches could be a tad bigger.

The falafel was excellent and the baklava rich and moist. Nice decor with Turkish pictures and lamps. Service was good too. We will go back to try other things.

While the restaurant is small it gives you a more homely feel. I had the baba ganoush, lamb shish kabob and Turkish coffee, the food was outstanding and perfectly prepared.The best part was the service, the whole team really seemed to take pride in the food and service they provide.Thank you!!
Food is fantastic, helpful and friendly service with good recommendations for how much to order, clean, comfortable, and intimate dine-in area. Take-out was quick and neatly packed. We had the chicken shish kebab with rice and peas, a Greek salad (perfect dressing and fresh veggies), tasty baba ganoush. Will definitely return every time we're in town! It's a little hard to find in the dark at night, but totally worth looking for. Right on the street on Old Northern Blvd.

We ordered 3 meals to go around 8:45 pm last week. The french fries were terrible and the gyro meat was very dry. We did not enjoy this food at all and will not go back. I don't know if it has to do with the fact that they were close to closing but still paid for food we feel should have been good.

I don’t know if we ordered wrong or what, but the food quantity was totally a dealbreaker for me.We ordered the mixed platter combo and the server told us it’s going to be enough for two people to share but it wasn’t even enough for one person.
