We had a great Easter Brunch at American Prime. Bryan and the rest of the staff were fantastic. The Lobster Eggs Benedict was cooked to perfection. And an excellent espresso martini for dessert!

Went there for Easter Brunch. Waiter stated that there was no easter brunch, and I had to pull up the website to show that they indeed were offering brunch. Waiter tells me that his manager never gave him a menu for Easter brunch so he was unaware. What a waste of time. We ended up going to Ruby Oysters in Rye.

It was our first time visiting this establishment and it won't be the last! Food was amazing, staff was friendly and knowledgeable about menu. Music was awesome, will absolutely be back again. HIGHLY recommend.

This is not your over the top stiff club room style steak house. It is however a steakhouse with great staff and a more relaxing atmosphere where you feel like family. This is a place where you can take family or enjoy the bar area dining with friends and coworkers.The food is excellent. The crab cocktail is amazing with a healthy portion. The escargot...best I have had. My steak has always been cooked perfectly and delish. I could go on.They even pulled off my apple martini.

From the start, this was not a good experience. The bread served was stale. Drink order took too long. Appetizers of raw oysters and grilled octopus was good. Branzino entree was not hot and drowning in sauce. Short ribs entree was overcooked and not served hot. Brussels sprouts side was dry and not hot. All sent back for a re-fire. Branzino came back the very same way despite request for less sauce. Short ribs came back in a different serving bowl but was the same entree, not re-fired. Brussels sprouts never came back. We gave up on the entrees, paid our bill for the apps and went to another restaurant. Manager was nice, but clueless about proper customer service. Crossed it off my list...

 Took forever to get drinks and food... we were lucky our food wasn't horrible. Everyone had to keep sending their food back and one couple actually left to go to a different restaurant.

Met 2 friends for dinner - service was very attentive and good. Food was good - we had steak - 2 NY strip and 1 filet. Overall quality of steaks was good but didnt wow me. As mentioned by server, the bone in steaks are aged and should be better so next time I am there, I will go for the porterhouse. Overall good experience.
Where to begin. My girlfriend and I dined in for the second time ever last night, and were promptly greeted by the host, who was warm and welcoming. Our server, Bryan, was knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly professional. The tuna tartar was a big reason we came back, and again it did not disappoint. Our steaks were prepared beautifully, and the creme brulee was just as phenomenal as the meal. The only (and very easily fixable) flaw was that the fries weren't crisp, but hey, if that's the only problem between the beautiful dining room, wonderful staff, and stellar food, that's saying something.We enthusiastically recommend this place to our friends and will be coming back as often as possible. I cannot speak highly enough about the entire experience.

We were pleased with the restaurant. The bar area is nice. The dining rooms are nice. The waitress was personable and very welcoming. She was also knowledgeable about the steaks. She listened to our needs and suggested a good quantity for our group. The steaks were delicious.

We had a wonderful Nee Years Eve at Prime, Eric the GM was a perfect host and was often making sure our evening was a success ! It was ! The Tomahawk Steak was cooked and served to perfection, the mashed potatoes were creamy and delicious and the creamed spinach was just heaven ! To start we had red and golden beet salad with a delicious side of breaded goat cheese which was so good !!! In total the experience was unforgettable ! We started the New Year off perfect !!!'lOh, and I didn't mention the complimentary New Years hats and noisemakers and a flute of the bubbly at Midnight !!!! Thanks for a great evening Prime !!!

Went there for dinner a few nights ago and loved it!The restaurant is exceptionally well decorated and the overall ambiance was warm and dignified. The food was excellent, the prices were very reasonable, and the staff was friendly, professional, and eager to please. If you're looking for a steak house, look no further than this hidden gem in Rye Brook.
