A lot of service was terrible like no food came we got literally two grains of rice, and it was the worst. I server was not in it, and he was not engaging. This is my worst experience ever at Buddha. do not come here if the server is a middle aged asian man with big veins.

Buddha used to be a good option for my family however the level of service has declined so much recently, we will never return again. We made reservations on a Saturday night. We were seated right away but after taking our order, we sat there for over an hour before a hibachi cook came over to our table. We realized that every table was seated but there was only one cook going around. The wait staff is very rude and it’s very difficult to communicate with them. I was still eating my salad but one of the waitresses took it away mid fork… When I told her I was still eating it, she muttered something. I think she was saying there wasn’t much left anyway. It was quite appalling. The cook came and he looked so tired. He messed up the order for another party at our table but no apologies, no acknowledgment. Then once the bill came, they added on 18% tip automatically. We were not a big party. Just a party of 4. I asked them why they’re automatically adding on tip… that they should let their clients know beforehand. She just nodded and walked away. Really horrible.

Very expensive. The "show" is fast and quick. Try to get you in and out as fast as possible. Food quality has gone down. Alot of money for the experience.

Awful !! Do not waste your money. They literally throw the food at you. Tonight we were done in 25 min. The cook splattered us all night. No show , except making a big fire 100 times. Put like 5 eggs in the fried rice. ( extra $4.50 ! If you want it fried. It's so dark in there . I believe hiding the dirt. Food all over the floor. Gross !!! There is no better hibachi then Ed'o in Pelham. . The waitress doesn't even come back to see if you want water. The chicken and steak cheap and tough. I'm so pissed right now 135 dollars for crap with no drink. Stay away. Thank me later

recently attempted to dine there and we sat on the non hibachi area. There was only 3 if ts and the ONLY FAMILY seated on that side. waitress was rude from the minute she asked our drink options. did not say hello or even smile. as if she was angry we were ordering. we needed a few minutes to order and those few minutes let to 20 minutes waiting for her to come back and take our dinnner request. DID I MENTION we were the only people seated. we left cash in the table for our drinks and proceeded to leave. she apologizes on our way out. treat people kindly please. all I expect s kindness and a smile. I am kind to everyone.

Food is good with great portion size! Staff was very pleasant, attentive and accommodating to our large party! Atmosphere just needs to be brightened, cleaned and painted and I will definitely visit again!

Went there out of the way while travelling through because of good memory from four years ago. Has probably changed hands to some kind of insincere business. The waitress was impolite and rude. At around 8:00 they were rushing us out while the posted closing was at 10:00 pm. Adding insult to injury they added 18% gratuity for a family of four. Apparently the business is broken like the dilapidated Buddha statues that are displayed shamelessly without repair - disrespectful. Two stars are for the food which was good.

My experience at Buddha Asian Bistro and Hibachi was simply extraordinary. I went with some friends, and it was an amazing experience. The ambiance at Buddha Asian Bistro is inviting and warm. The lighting makes it feel precious and the experience was amazing. The scent of sizzling hibachi grills in the air adds to the anticipation of a fantastic meal, however, it didn't interfere with the overall experience. The service at Buddha Asian Bistro was impeccable. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and always ready to offer recommendations. They were always very welcoming and kind to us.I would 10/10 recommend this place, a very welcoming environment!

The broken sign that spelled out "udd" instead of Buddha might have been the tipoff that this once reliable place (I'm told) had lost its luster. We were a well behaved party of 7 adults 3 young people who arrived at 8 and by 10pm were surrounded by a full staff using mops and brooms while we were still seated and some of us still picking. Disgusting. Meanwhile we noticed that the restaurant stored it's toilet paper in full view of the dining room, and there was a mob and bucket next to me at the entrance to the kitchen. It smelled. In fact, I think the whole place smelled a little 8th Ave in Hell's Kitchen (where there is a sewer problem). It's one of those places where they barbecue at your table and the cook quickly divides the food on the grill and delivers it to your plate from a stainless cooking utensil. He was not very careful. He also squirted sake all over several people, instead of getting it in their mouths. Rushed service, limp noodles, burnt shrimp. And then the cleaning crew pushing filth everywhere. For this, $600, and there were only a few cocktails, as 5 of us were not drinking alcohol. This place is disgusting.

Regrettable order. Very very dissatisfied. If I had been served what I got on my take out I would have walked out and gotten something else to eat. Tried calling to see if they could do something about it to give them another chance but they simply didn’t care enough. So pretty bad!I got the shrimp hibachi-very few pieces of veggies-“salad” was iceberg lettuce and nothing else-“soup” was basically flavored water
