“I stopped in for a sandwich and boy am I glad I did! I decided on the Bronx bomber and my friend got the Bronx tale. All I can say is wow! The sandwiches came out toasted and perfectly crisp. My Bronx bomber, roast beef on a garlic wedge with melted cheddar and onions and peppers was absolutely delicious. Sandwiches are large so I took half home. The Bronx tale, which had chicken cutlet pesto sun-dried peppers and provolone was equally delicious! I loved everything about the sandwiches, but next time, I will definitely get it on the seeded bread! I think that would be outstanding! Everyone working behind the counter is friendly, fast-moving and really nice. It's a really clean establishment and I will be back soon! It definitely fulfilled the craving I was having!“

“It's a small little spot right off Grasslands Road down the hill from WCC. Before entering I was greeted by the owner, Sam. He was very cool and truly believes in what he is doing. I really like it when owners get involved. The inside is small but decorated very nicely. The sandwich wasn't too big and wasn't too small. I got the cheesesteak and it was one of the best I have had in a long time. I'm not sure if they make their own bread but it was extremely fresh. The steak was juicy and the red and yellow bell peppers added the perfect amount of sweetness. I am eager to try their other sandwiches. I love supporting local businesses that are passionate about what they do and make great food. This place is a little pricey but it is too notch quality. I definitely recommend the sandwich spot.“

“I don't usually leave reviews but I had to for this restaurant. The food is sooo tasty but yet healthy as can be. The customer service is amazing! Door Dash didn't send the confirmation for my delivery to the restaurant and the owner delivered my lunch herself!“

“Always get take out, but ate in with a few friends on a busy Saturday. The staff was friendly and gave great suggestions to my friends, and our food was delicious. I love the chips, but sometimes they can be a little too crispy/burnt…otherwise solid, good, not dietetic food!“

“After shopping this location is everything. My sandwich is always fresh and made to order. There is a line but it goes by very quickly. Staff is excellent and always fast tending to your needs. You can always find seating and there is a sink directly by the booth to wash your hands before eating.“

“When I moved to New York, I lived upstairs to an Italian Deli. After moving to Greenwich, I have been looking for a deli that would match it. A friend recommended Firehouse...and THIS IS IT! We have been ordering now for several months. You can taste the pride. Prices are more than fair and the portions (especially the wedges) are outstanding. This is the real deal. Love their meatball Parm wedge, the Mr. G's wedge...hell, everything I've tried has been good. My wife loves their fish sandwich, too, so it's a winner all around...it's all great.“

“The Traditional was out of this world, just the perfect balance of steak, caramelized onions, and cheese whiz on a beautifully toasted wedge (hoagie? Grinder? Sub? Pick one.) Don't like cheese whiz? They'll use American or provolone instead. The Mrs. got herself The Club with BLT and mayo and loved every bite!I've been dying for a good cheesesteak, but something authentic and true to the spirit of The Sandwich; Crotty's scratched an itch that feel like I would have had to go to Philly for. The entire menu looks fantastic, the store is cozy and clean, and the people working there obviously care deeply about the product they serve and the community that they're part of. Lindsay, Paul, and Papa Joe: Thank you so much for the food and the banter and please don't stop doing what you do, we'll be back soon!Parking: With the college and the high school nearby parking can be difficult. The shop is pretty small though, they're really designed more for takeout.“

“I really enjoy this subway location. There is very easy street parking on the corner of the building, and their food is excellent. The subs are very tasty and all of the ingredients are very fresh. I also love their chocolate chip cookies! They also have some very friendly staff as well.“

“This subway is amazing. Usually subway service sucks and makes the food taste bad. But today i walked in got a sub with excellent customer service. I hate that i didnt have enough to tip cause he deserved one. I didnt get his name but i hope he keeps up the good work. Thank you for the food dawg“
“It's a chain and I got the customer service I expect at a chain. I wasn't blown away by the service, but she was polite, friendly and attentive. She understood me and I understood her - no language barrier like previous people mentioned. Parking was fine, though it is next to a gym so busy times at the gym may mean less spots but the lot is huge. Take a walk from a further spot if you need to. The veggies looked and tasted fresh. I got the sandwich I asked for - light on the onions and heavy on the pickles.“

“Local staple. Reviews shouldn’t be allowed for this gem. I’ve been going here for 13 years and I do admit the quality has dropped a tiny bit but I think that’s due to the surge in online ordering post Covid combined with them being short staffed. The bagels are still the best outside of NYC/Long Island and the breakfast sandwiches are delicious.“
