I have mixed feelings about this place. Their chicken wings were great wxtra crispy just like we asked but it was Super Bowl sunday and wings were suppose to be $1 but we were charged the regular price for 10 wings . Bartender didnt seem to care and didnt offer to make the adjustment. They forgot an item on our take out order which after seeing it wish we didnt go back for it. The burnt ends mac and cheese that was $29.00 yes you see that correctly $29.00 and it had 5 burnt ends of fat on it. I will post a picture. I was highly disappointed which stinks bc their wings were good and Oh the beer selection for being a brewery is not great..

Such a wonderful time!! Food was great, staff nice and knowledgeable, I loved the beer and the outdoor patio!! This place and small town charm had me in love. I can't wait to go back and share thr experience with others. I live in NC and will gladly add this place back to my Northern road trips

They blocked me on FB for a truthful comment. Not rude or anything. Just the truth. They bought Maggie’s. Hopefully they run that better then the 1812.Either way. Won’t be going to either one. They can’t keep help or get it. That should show you something. And can’t take criticism. That should tell you something. They want to hide. HmmmmmThe owners have no idea how to run a biz. Also the beer sucks.

We had a prime rib on a weck with their signature blue cheese slaw and a 1812 ale. Really good food.

We were looking for a place on the water to enjoy lunch after spending a few hours exploring Sackets Harbor. There didn’t appear to be too many options so we settled on this. After our initial disappointment with a rude & surly hostess we were seated at a dirty table I had to wipe down while we waited for a waitress. Menu was limited, food was ok, edible but nothing special. Bathrooms disgusting, old & dirty. One waitress serving dining room & deck and it was apparently too much for her because service was very slow. We saw a sign at the hostess desk stating there was a credit card surcharge so we planned to pay cash. Very disturbed to see the surcharge on our bill when we finally got it. We waited (again) for a while for the waitress to return so we could get a corrected bill without the surcharge, finally gave up, figured out total & tip without it, hunted waitress down, explained our adjustment & handed it to her so we could leave. Wouldn’t recommend this place based on our experience.

Outdoor seating was pleasant, our server was accommodating. Drinks and meals were delicious.

The street corn was burned and not fresh. Barely touched it and was a waste of money. Jalapeno cornbread was dry, pretty sure the slice of coconut cream pies we ordered was was one of the cheap frozen pies from the store and the piece was very tiny, like a sampling of pie. The hamburger and the cherry pie ordered were good, but overall a disappointing experience. The wait staff was friendly so that was a plus.

My wife ordered the burnt ends for $22. What was served was horrible. I should have known that at 11:30 on a Monday, if the smoker wasn’t hot, and burnt ends were still available, something is wrong. There were cubes of all fat and the small actual burnt ends were incredibly salty. When we told the waitress, she said, “I’ll let them know”. Then returned a couple of minutes later with the check. No discount, no offer for replacement, nobody coming to speak with us. I like the place for their beer, but $8 for a pint, even that is becoming unreasonable. The new attempt at adding bbq was a good idea but the execution of it has been disappointing.

Excellent beer and food. Super friendly and quality service. Beautiful views of the lake. Easy trip from Watertown, Clayton, Cape Vincent, Alexandria Bay and well with it. One of our regular stops while in the area. Will worth it.

Food is over priced and gross. From what i saw Just a bunch of teens working in the kitchen. My smokehouse burger looked like it was a froze premade patty. No seasoning. And the pulled pork was dry and flavorless. Forgot the slaw forgot the sauce. And the bottom bun was wet even tho the burger itself was beyond dry. Looked like someone prechewed my pulled pork. My husbands pork belly was not charred at all. And the fat to meat raito was not worth what was paid. Oh and they ask you how you want your burger cooked. But no matter the request u will get a well done dry burger. Five people . Not one persons burger came as they requested. If your going to well done every patty. Dont ask the customer how they want it. DO NOT GO HERE.

Have been here many times. Things have gone downhill. Fish was flavorless. Rotisserie chicken was $29. Expected more than what you can get at a grocery store. Corn was terrible. How do you screw up corn on the cob?

Such amazing service! A great stop. We really enjoyed the Cream Ale and the Haddock sandwich! Worth stopping in.
