Looking for a place to get a drink and some food after tying up our boat at the local marina for the night in St. Johnsville. Cosmo's was the only place open and fairly quiet when we sat down. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The menu was simple but had enough choices for us. We ordered and had a few beers and when the food came out it was fresh cooked and good portioned. Would highly recommend this place for a cool old fashioned bar ambiance with great people and food.

We recently took a few days to go upstate and we had an awesome time! Chris was awesome and his "Cuban Sandwich" is one of the best we ever had. We're from the city and Cuban sandwiches are everywhere! And I have to say, this one hit a home run! Thank you Chris for your hospitality. We look forward to next time we visit!

They are so nice!! Chris was so welcoming and made the best burger in town. When we drove by and made hard eye contact with Chris through the door, we knew we found the perfect place to sit down for a good meal and cold drink. Beer, wings, and fries. What more do you need. Bartender was so sweet - could pass as Kirsten Dunst's long lost twin. Pool table was great. Unique music. Made us feel right at home - even invited us back for drinks!

I wish Cosmo's lived up to past reviews that are flattering, but it did not. Advertised as a "BAR & Grill", and the outdoor sign reads "Beer and Wine" it is NOT a full bar nor does it sell wine, only beer. In addition, it is NOT AT ALL friendly to visitors. When we walked in, all the huge patrons, spilling over their buckling bar stools, turned to look. The seating we found was in a separate, empty dining room. I asked for a margarita and my husband requested a red wine. The waitress informed us that they had neither, only beer. We got up to leave ... only to hear the waitress tell the overfed patrons "MARGARITA" and they all snickered as the door shut behind us.

The staff and patrons are the best! As an out-of-towner I was very welcomed and had alot of fun !
Had a small issue with some food I ordered. Called to make them aware and was not looking for a refund or my money back at all. Well the worker ended up way more than making up for it. Overall customer service is HUGE and this guy was awesome at it! Very nice and sincere too! I live basically next door and have only ordered food a few times but everytime it's excellent and very cheap. I do for sure recommend.
