Went in person to place order, had a 25 minute wait. My neighbors have had their pizza and said it is hit or miss depending on if you buy by the slice or a whole pizza. Wish I had positive feedback because I believe the owners also have West Ave Chicken & I love them and lots of their menu items!“
“This is what you want when you order a sandwich! This is my first time ordering from spring street Deli and this is a sandwich I will remember! I got a turkey sandwich with bacon , Swiss and Russian dressing and to say that I am satisfied is an understatement! Absolutely delicious and from now on I am willing to drive the 25 mins to get a sandwich from here! It's worth it!“
“To get the full Russell's experience you need to arrive at the busiest time (I was there on the first day of track season) when Russell is doing 8 things at once including frying eggs, making pancakes, mixing mashed potatoes, grilling burgers and building sandwiches all while taking orders and barking at a first time customer who got confused about the ordering process.My pastrami and Swiss on rye (using the stuff from Helmbold's in Troy which is now marketed under the Carnegie Deli brand) was perfect and my side of cole slaw was just right and fairly priced at around $12 bucks for both. After things calmed down, Russell still had the energy to come out from behind the counter and chat me about pastrami variations and apologize to the woman he barked at.Word is that Russell and his wife want to sell and retire, but these are big shoes to fill and i hope he'll be around for awhile.“
“My family grabs lunch here all the time and breakfast sandwiches when we can! My three children will ask for this delis chicken tenders and fries on the regular. The buttermilk ranch is to die for. Today we got a sub platter for my son's birthday. They did not disappoint, it was such a pleasure to work with them even with adding extra sandwiches last minute. Definitely my favorite local deli. “Pellegrino is my weekly stop for Boar's Head and Pellegrino homemade cole slaw and macaroni salad. Staff is great, and they know exactly how I want my cold cuts cut! Steve did a sandwich platter for my Long Island guests, and it was a hit! It is a pleasure to give them my business !“
“So no matter what you have here, it's going to be great but believe it or not the best pizza around isn't from a Pizza Parlor it's from this Ballston Spa Deli and sandwich shop. The Chicken Pesto Pizza comes with fresh tomato's, loads of shredded chicken and gobs of melted cheese. Not only does it taste great but it leaves you feeling full without feeling regret. I can easily get away with the 12 cut but I always order the 24 and pack my extra off in the freezer. It makes for an easy and satisfying dinner with 10 minutes in the oven at 375f. Add whatever salad you can whip up while it's heating and you've got an easy dinner. Love it!“
“Had the special, Nigerian Suya. It was so delicious—the baguette was super fresh! The sandwich was generously filled and still held entirely together without becoming a mess. It was layered with flavors and absolutely delicious. International friends visited this deli this past summer and they loved it as well. Online order takeout process couldn’t have been any easier.“
