Amazingly busy, worth being put on their waiting list! Wonderful, unique, and delicious drinks.Their menu items are savory and portions are filling. As a former hostess/bartender/wait staff, it was a pleasure to watch their front room staff interact and perform like a well-oiled-machine.Vegetarian options: They are willing to accommodate my good allergies.Dietary restrictions: They are willing to help me with gluten free options!

Food was great and service was very nice. Two ambience where one of them, bar area is more loud and the other side more quite in the kitchen area.

Far and above my favorite place for a cocktail. The food is also fantastic but I've only eaten here a few times. To me, the real strength of this place lies in the bar tenders, namely Evan, Tim, and Sonya. I went here a few times upon turning 21, and in the last year since moving to Saratoga Springs proper this past year, I've been quite often. They haven't yet not recognized a drink I've asked for... A Sidecar, Sazerac, Corpse Revivers, etc. Not only do they have the proper ingredients, but they really know what I'm asking for. Furthermore, the aforementioned bartenders are simply fantastic. They make good conversation, work toward serving you, portray an aura of professionalism, and make excellent recommendations obviously including but not limited to drinks, other restaurants, music, and more. They are fun to talk to and, even better, fun to watch. Clean bar with excellent service especially with regards to water refills. My favorite place in Saratoga. You'll spend some money here, but it's very well spent.

This place was so sweet. The Hostess squeezed us in ?? and we could not be more thankful!! Had the Kale Salad as a starter - so yummy. And then the Mushroom Farfalle was likely the best I've ever had. The staff were so kind and had a great aesthetic!! Definitely would go back.

All the above. Craft cocktails and flavors from all cultures on one menu. Service was excellent but don't expect quick meal. Chill atmosphere, not too loud and exactly what you'd expect from this type of dining experience.

Best cocktails in the upstate area. You know it's a great place when they have large clear ice for their drinks. Highly recommend.

Hamlet and Ghost has been a date night staple for a few years now and we've always had an incredible time. Their seasonal menus are always delicious and true to the local produce, with a beautiful atmosphere and attentive wait staff. We're already looking forward to going back in the spring.

Teenage hostess very rude! We went to Ghost and Hamlet for happy hour. We were very excited to try their craft cocktails. By the time we arrived there were only a few seats left at the bar. However, our friends that we were meeting had already been seated at the bar. We walked in to greet them but we were rudely stopped by the hostess and told there were no seats next to them available and that there is no standing at the bar. Which of course, that is understandable. Never planned on standing at the bar. However, the hostess stood next to me and wouldn’t even allow us to walk over to our friends to discuss if we wanted to get a table or go else where. Clearly we chose to go else where at this point and we will not be back. Several other wonder restaurants downtown to choose from.

Excellent food and cocktails. I didn't catch our waiter's name but he was very attentive and helpful in deciphering the menu lol. Hamlet is one of the finest restaurants in

The restaurant offered decent food and a very nice vibe, but I think we’re going too far with the addition of service charges. I’m fine with paying a tip when the service is exceptional—I had an amazing experience with absolutely no problems or complaints. However, the audacity of the establishment’s owners to charge an extra 4% for the kitchen staff is starting to make me question where it ends. Should we now expect to pay additional fees for clean bathrooms, or perhaps a service charge for the hostess? She was very nice, by the way. And what about the fact that the door worked correctly—should there be a maintenance service charge for that too? In my opinion, it’s customary to tip in a restaurant, just as it’s customary for the restaurant to pay their kitchen staff enough to prepare decent food that entices someone to spend their money. After reviewing the response, here are my thoughts: Just as you allocate funds for essential expenses such as water, electricity, maintenance, and rent to ensure your kitchen staff earn a fair wage, it’s crucial to consider their compensation. When customers enter your restaurant, it’s not inherently obvious that their tips should also support kitchen employees. Additionally, this raises questions about why the practice should stop with kitchen staff. Why not extend similar consideration to maintenance workers or even include the landlord in the tipping pool? The rationale provided lacks clarity and coherence. Despite your attempts to justify this approach, the explanations fall short of being convincing.

Really disappointed with multiple things going on with this place. Been going for a long time and starting to see it going downhill. They really need to work on reservations. disappointing I've not been able to get my reservations even after I've been sent notifications, and showing up to only hear someone say I don't have a reservation. It's not worth the trouble people go somewhere else!!
