“I was at Haru recently and I must say, the renovations that it's undergone are really nice! The establishment has an area designated for hibachi as well as for regular dining. We were seated immediately and the dining area is clean and pristine and spacious. The staff was friendly and attentive and checked on us to see if we were ready to order. It took a bit as the menu is somewhat substantial so you'll want to peruse through it. The visuals are quite good so you can see what some of their dishes look like too. My girlfriend and I both had a California roll appetizer and we had shrimp tempura as our entree. Lunch also came with miso soup and a small salad with ginger carrot dressing on it. Needless to say I was quite full after finishing my appetizer, soup and salad! So yes, I was only able to eat one shrimp and one piece of broccoli tempura as the portion size was good. I happily took my leftovers that reheated just lovely in my toaster oven later on. Overall, I would go back as there is enough variety to keep me interested and there is definitely something for everyone. You are not bound by eating just sushi as you can go for hibachi or appetizers and drinks! A really nice dining experience awaits you!“
“Dined on a Tuesday around 4pm and the Eddie F’s Saratoga location did not disappoint!! In the past, we’ve enjoyed both of the Lobster rolls, hot and cold, plus the Lobster Mac and Cheese. Today, we tried the fish fry dinner with fries (delivered to the table with onion rings, but was promptly corrected with a piping hot basket of delicious French fries). I tried the blackened grilled Shrimp, cooked to perfection, served on a toasted hot dog roll with homemade onion rings. Both meals were well seasoned and very much enjoyed. We were the only 2 inside diners and there were 2 orders for take out prepared and picked up while we were there. Our female server was very nice and professional, as was the female cooking in the back of the restaurant. Our only complaint was with the Cole slaw. It was dry cabbage and tasteless, missing either mayo or vinegar, whichever you prefer. We will definitely order and enjoy more of Eddie F’s Seafood in the future!! ? available inside. “First time in here and we found it to be great. Smiles all around from the staff the whole time, waitress was fun and easygoing. The decor and ambiance was classy, large wood burning fireplace that left no smoke smell and wasn’t too warm. Food was fresh, prepared with care, and we enjoyed everything we ordered. We plan to order takeout for a family party we have coming up in a week and we’re going back in person first chance we get. We’re only upset with ourselves for waiting so long to try it.“
“Went to Ripe Tomato tonight for dinner and was not disappointed. Starting with their bread which I couldn't stop eating. I had the special Pasta Milano and it was so good I wish I hadn't eaten all that bread. The others in our party ordered veal parm and seafood FraDiablo which were OK but nothing special. Our waitress was great and the atmosphere is a little loud but not deafening. If you haven't been give it a try and enjoy. Suggest you make reservations of you go on weekend.“
“This became our go-to Chinese takeout place when we were living in the Ballston Spa area for a couple of years. Friendly service and every dish we tried on the menu was great. Our favorites were the Hunan beef and the Kung Pao chicken. Also the portions are glorious - we'd easy get 2 meals out of each dish. Highly recommended!“
“I would ignore the bad reviews, not a one I read was accurate. This is a high end French restaurant in a rather odd location. It's not a cheap diner as it first presents, no it's really a genuine and lovely French eatery. The prices perhaps could be cheaper not were the dishes anything new. It was true classic French cuisine, made well. I should note the bar is also lovely, the aperol spritz was great. This is a fantastic date night or fancy occasion. Avoid it if you are looking for cheap country eats, you are coming here to get some real and well made food.Dietary restrictions: Wonderful celiac options and they catered to a milk allergy well. The teenager that waited on us today seemed more worried about talking to her friend than doing her job and she was pretty rude.
