Nice little place with interesting options. Had the Vietnamese chicken salad and the red dal soup. Both were very good. Lots of little chocolates, snacks, drinks that would wouldn’t see elsewhere.

The squash was one of the best tasting dishes I had during a weekend upstate. Don’t miss the mayana chocolate bars—sometimes in the display case and sometimes out in the grocery store aisle. I’m obsessed.Vegetarian options: Lots of delicious premade vegetarian options.Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options, including the fried chicken.

Okay, so picture this: the sandwich, absolute perfection, a culinary masterpiece that sent me to flavor heaven. But, darling, the owner, a tad unpolished, maybe in need of a little etiquette lesson. And let's not even talk about the parking lot – it was a chaotic mess, like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Sandwich heaven, yes, but a touch of earthly chaos to keep things interesting.Edit: (3/3/24) first off who is Kira/kara??I have no idea who that is. Additionally, you shouldnt so be so proud of an accusatory statement only shows your true demeanor. I live Poughkeepsie and went to your shop because I was in the neighborhood for my wife’s family. But it seems that I will never go to your establishment and will make sure everyone I know will stay away as well. For everyone reading this the food is good but like I stated the atmosphere/ toxicity is not worth an over priced sandwich.

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent visit to Black Eyed Suzies. Despite parking in the designated spots, the owner unreasonably called a towing company on my vehicle, showing a complete lack of regard for customer convenience or circumstances. To make matters worse, when I requested to have my food reheated—a reasonable ask for anyone who expects their mac and cheese or pot pie to be served warm—I was flatly refused. This level of service is unacceptable and frankly, absurd. Who would want to eat their meals cold? It’s a joke. The owner’s rude behavior and the restaurant’s failure to meet basic customer service expectations have completely turned me off. I won’t be returning and would advise others to think twice before visiting Black Eyed Suzies.

High quality, eclectic dishes served in various sizes so you can enjoy tapas style if you wish. Getting a bunch of items and sharing is recommended in my experience. Excellent coffee. Complimenting everything are a bunch of nicely curated goods on the shelf.

I decided to have Christmas day "free for family enjoyment" and didn't want to cook so I ordered food to be picked up on Christmas Eve from Black-Eyed Suzies. Everything was 5 star plus. The Butternut Squash Soup was a real hit with everyone at the table. The fluffy dinner rolls tasted delightful. The Beef Tenderloin was cooked to perfection and just had to be warmed briefly in the oven. It was cooked so perfectly that it didn't get well done (even after heating). The presentation (left an impression) because it was labeled & packaged appropriately to be reheated . For anyone that hasn't experienced this wonderful eatery, please don't hesitate. Thank you and we will be back.

We had them cater light refreshments for a community event and they certainly didn't disappoint! Firstly, everyone knew it was from BES! We had the Hudson Valley Cheese on Wood Platter, Colorful Crudités (OMG the avocado ranch!), Charcuterie Platter (all the meats were inhaled) and the Zatar Flatbreads- with a delicious fig chutney and this whipped goat cheese that was amazing. Psyched we impressed our guests and are able to promote this awesome local business!

Cute little place, tons of really good food knick knacks. I had the chicken soup with dill and rice, it was perfect for a chilly day.

delightful. Fresh & perfectly balanced flavors. You can dine in but they don’t heat up the food. Had the best turkey sandwich of my entire life no big deal. Got a pot pie to go. 10/10 would

We got delivery from Black-Eyed Suzie's for our wedding rehearsal dinner and it was amazing. Everything came with generous portions was delicious and either stayed warm or reheated well. In particular, the mac and cheese, fried chicken, white bean salad, and desserts were spectacular.

Looking in the window . If you like aluminum pot's and fly strip in your kitchen then this is your place to go. Neither one is good for you.

Black-Eyed Suzie's catered my wedding and did an incredible job. Their offerings accommodated many different dietary preferences and Cheryl helped create a menu that worked for us. The food came packaged beautifully and everything was delicious!
