I called several times their hours state they close at 11 on Thursdays went there a little after 930 and they were closed. Has happened several times.

Absolutely the best empanadas I’ve ever had. The garlic parmigiana was my favorite. The green beans and potatoes OMG!!!Gonna did in to the dessert ones soon!

This place is an absolute hidden gem. The food, the variety and the customer service is superior. This is one of my husband and I fav spot when we don’t feel like cooking. You gotta go try alotta! It’s 10/10!Parking: Located next to a gas station in a plaza. Tons of parkingWheelchair accessibility: No stairs and nice wide doors! Totally accessible !

What a fantastic awesome place Alotta Empanadas is! I tried this place for my first time on Wednesday. I wanted to try a bunch of their different flavors, so I ended up getting 7. When I arrived to pick them up, they told me that they had gave me a 8th one for free! How great is that? Ordering online was super easy and my order was ready at the time I chose (after work) to pick it up. I will definatley go back again and again, because they were so tasty! I can't wait to try other menu items like their chicken and side dishes. The empanadas I got were savory, delicious pieces of heaven! The woman who runs the restaurant, is super nice too! Great experience!

The food was ok. Definitely not worth the price at all. The curry shrimp empanada had literally 1 shrimp in it. Such a let down. 6.50 for the large- with 1 shrimp?? The chicken, cheese, and jalapeños was good. For the costs, we won't be back. Too much$$, for too little.

Ok, ya'll. For REAL. You NEED to get over to Alotta Empanadas in the Runway gas station on Altamont Ave. in Schenectady! These ladies are cranking out some seriously good eats. We ordered 2 specials. Each came with 2 empanadas (we chose Philly Cheesesteak, Curry Chicken, J*** Chicken & Garlic Parm), a lovely flavored lemonade (we chose strawberry x 2) and a choice of 2 sides (we chose mac & cheese x 2, "Lockdown Rice" and Dirty Rice). Each combo. $15. Take your time. Call in your order in advance or pop over before going to WalMart for a few minutes. All of their empanadas are made-to-order. They are worth the wait! Fresh and each more flavorful than the last. Our favorite was the curry chicken but they were all dynamite! The lockdown rice is so flavorful with little bits of octopus & calamari and the dirty rice held its own on flavor too. The mac & cheese alone is worth making this place a destination. Even the made-to-order lemonades were excellent. There is something very comforting about this outfit. The ladies opperating the business have a charm rarely found anymore. We joked and laughed about my 2 little boys becoming big empanada fans as I checked out. They have surely earned my repeat business and they should earn yours too!
