The food was fine, the wait for it was not! The waitress kept apologizing and was sweet, but the kitchen could not keep up with the 60% capacity in the dining room.Portion sizes are generous and the pricing was fair.

Love the atmosphere. The Cavatelli was fantastic! Meatballs were so-so. Nobody to bus tables so our waitress was a bit flustered. We will definitely go again.

My mother and I love it. Best Italian food in the Capital District and I've tried a lot of it. I've yet to try anything I haven't liked. Portions are generous. They even have a piano. If you like Italian do yourself a favor and try it.

Dined at Amelia’s for the first time last night and let me say, it was great! From the moment we walked in the hospitality was wonderful. Our waitress Sandra was perfectly attentive and very good at her job. The food was so good! I had the Amelia’s greens which were some of the best Italian greens I’ve ever had and primavera with shrimp which was delish and left with a bunch to take home because the serving was so big. All in all a lovely experience and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a great evening and meal!

Randy Loren, and his full staff are always accommodating and friendly. Including the chefs , with always serving A 5 star meal from start to finish. IF you love seafood, I highly recommend Randy's Shrimp Amelia, I always like a side of buttered, parm pasta too.

My family of six enjoyed a very tasteful evening for a birthday dinner last night at Amelia’s. We made a reservation for 6:30 and was promptly seated. We ordered one appetizer of fried zucchini with a tomato sauce. We also were given sliced Italian bread for the table. Note- the bread was room temperature, this was noticed by everyone who had a slice for we are used to enjoying warm bread. Our choices for dinner were Fettuccini Alfredo, Chicken Marsala, Penne W/ vodka sauce and Lobster ravioli with a side of meatballs and sauce. All meals were enjoyed. I must note that the lobster ravioli was a purée instead of chunks/pieces of lobster. The whole table agreed that the sauce that came with the meatballs and fried zucchini was excellent. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was very relaxing and welcoming. We observed the chef (owner?) approach all tables inquiring comfort and enjoyment of dinners. We did order two desserts and were presented with cannolis for the birthday guest. Upon paying our check, the birthday guest was given a gift certificate for future use. Which we definitely will be using as we immensely enjoyed our time and meal and intend on returning.
Amelia's Italian Eatery has by far The Best Italian food in the Tri city area! All the food is delicious but my favorite is the Seafood FraDiavolo, mild!
