This place peaked my interest because it is always jam packed when I come downtown on Sundays. Yesterday I decided to give it a try and all I can say is wow, I found my new favorite spot in Schenectady!I had a hard time choosing my Latte because so many sounded so good, but I went with one of their favorites on the chalk sign, the Baklava, YUM!!!! I got a banana muffin to go with it and a breakfast sandwich that had avocado and spring mix, and both were delicious. They told me the muffins are made there and you could tell, fresh and amazing. ♡While I was waiting for my food (which was not long, surprising with the line).I heard one of the staff from the kitchen talking with people as she brought their food, and I loved she knew so many people by name. They obviously have a lot of regulars, and I can see why! The food was excellent and the service and atmosphere felt like being a guest in a friend's home. I'll definitely be back! Great job Bud's on Jay!- Lauren

I ordered a breakfast burrito with bacon, but received no bacon, barely any cheese, a ton of eggs and potatoes which were undercooked and flavorless. Gave it to my dog so the food wasn't wasted at least.

So they are a cute little spot however their coffee in the morning is so bad like not sure just tastes burnt, in the summertime when college students are working it's great however don't get matcha from here because they don't make it right its more like milk with some teaDietary restrictions: Very good with milk choices

Heard a lot of hype about this spot. Waited about half an hour for a to go burrito that ended being mostly a lettuce, hardly any egg or actual filling inside. They were really busy, but common, it was a rabbit

All they have a great selection of coffee tea and sandwiches. Gluten-free option as well! My favorite Is the grab and go station sandwiches! They're typically, they're hot and ready with some variety?

Great service & fantastic coffee. Very polite. My only disappointment was my breakfast was overseasoned & too salty. I felt bad for spending the money in light of that. I have however been pleased with their breakfast sandwiches to go.Vegetarian options: Pretty decent

Breakfast wasn't very good. I ordered a bacon egg and cheddar sandwich, and the pig was still breathing despite asking for well done food. the cheese also wasn't cheddar. My husband ordered egg whites with home fries and toast and it was bland. The only seasoning on this food is pepper. Overall I wouldn't return.

Great coffee and food on Jay street. Good spot for breakfast and lunch, with great options including vegan. The cafe itself needs a little work which is underway.

Great little spot for coffee & breakfast or lunch!Really happy to come here, they have a nice cozy spot at the start of Jay St, right across from Johnny’s. Perfect for a quick coffee or bite, or stay and relax and have a seat outside. I didn’t get the coffee this time but the breakfast sandwich was EXCELLENT and the bagel was delicious. Service was top notch, I really can’t wait to come back and try a latte!
