A coworker, who is a former New York resident, was visiting from Utah and wanted authentic Italian food. We got the chicken parm takeout special. She was in heaven. Food is excellent, portions are large and staff are very friendly. I have also dined in on many occasions and have never had any complaints about food or service.

One of my favorite places to eat in Schenectady. I've walked/driven past this place for a few years before I finally (on a whim at that) decoded to eat here. I've been coming back for more ever since!The restaurant is smaller than similar establishments, but that adds to its charm. The fireplace is warm and inviting, and the bar is well stocked with some great drinks being served. The portions are very generous for the price, and it isn't uncommon to see people at other tables taking their food to go.The food is delicious, and you're going to get a quality meal each and every time. The drink menu rotates often, so there's plenty of opportunities to try something new or stick to the tried and true. The service is great, and I've been well taken care of each and every time! Gabby and Kyle are fantastic, and they remember me each time I come to eat. They know how to make you feel welcome, and your patronage valued. Just make sure you make a reservation in advance because they're only open for a few hours, and they get PACKED. Whether you're visiting or a local, I highly recommend this restaurant.

This was my first time here and will definitely not be my last! The food portions were huge and absolutely scrumptious! The most tender veal dish I have ever had. The staff and service were exceptional- ask for Gianna, she’s a fantastic bartender and ambassador of this amazing restaurant! It’ll be busy, but definitely worth the wait! Don’t forget to finish with the homemade Italian Love Cake!

Food was excellent!Service was slow and the e didn’t get drinks from the bar for well over 20 minutes and the place wasn’t busy at all.. just the bartender who was on her personal cell phone that was too busy to pour a draft beer and a sangria.Atmosphere was okay, but I wonder why they don’t have the lower parts of the windows covered so the headlights weren’t shining in everyone’s eyes while we are trying to dine?Definitely going back again because the food was so delish!

Fantastic chicken milinese which I cut with a fork it was so tender and delicious. The stuffed mushrooms with crab were outstanding. Free hot garlic bread as many baskets as you need. Very nice staff and no wait time as we were seated in the bar area. Personally this restaurant is one of the best tasting foods in Schenectady NY at this time . Highly recommend DeAngelo s for a great dinner.
