Nice place but I miss the old Village Diner in Latham. I'll go back here, though. They have legendary waffles but only on weekends.

Arrived about 9am on a Sunday and was expecting a crowd...but we were the second group in the restaurant. Ordered a Texas Benedict which was made with sausage and just the right awmout of sausage gravy. (Not a whole palte full.) Now that's my kind of Bennie. Large portions. Lots of cripsy home fries. (You can order covered with sausage gravy or other sauce). Others ordered eggs and homefries and waffle. its not a Belgian waffle, just a regular round waffle. Side of bacon was chewy and not cripsy. My wife prefers cripsy. Nice atmosphere. I would go back. Please note no credit/debit cards. Venmo or PayPal accepted as well as CASH.

The food is always very good and the service is good. You can sit at the counter like an old fashioned diner or you could take a seat in the back but it's a nice atmosphere. They don't take credit cards but I think it's nice that they accept PayPal and Venmo

Honestly this breakfast spot can't be beat! Everything is made fresh and cooked to order, and the portions are plentiful and prices cheap! I got this corn beef hash, two eggs, toast and potatoes for $7! Hello, good deal! The whole place is just cute and charming. Definitely will make this a staple when I'm up in the area! Friendly staff too!
