The food was not that good it was ok nothing special. The oxtail was not tender enough. My son liked the jerk chicken. The rice and peas taste terrible. The plantains were good. Cabbage was ok.

First time coming to this establishment, I did order through Uber Eats due to the fact that Frank’s is currently shut down due to some type of notice from the city…… I ordered an oxtail dinner that contain nothing but fat and bones. Literally no meat on it.The cabbage was a joke they use frozen red peppers and round carrot sticks??I don’t mind paying the price, but what I do mind is the blatant disrespect to the cultures food! I’m hoping that they make this right when I bring my food back after my shift.

Unfortunately, I have been unable to taste the food because it is falsely advertised that they are open Monday from 11:00am - 8:00pm. I reside in the area and have walked down twice on 2 separate occasions, only to find the door locked and the restaurant closed! This was a total waste of my Time (which) is precious, not to mention this is false advertisement, this restaurant clearly doesn’t want to make any real money, and has definitely lost a potentially good customer!

Ordered curry chicken and jerk chicken several times for lunch over the last few months and each time the chicken was very dry and tough. The best way to describe it is if left overs were being reheated one too many times in an uncovered pot. Not fall off the bone and moist like it was last year. Can't recommend the restaurant now based on that consistent trend over several months (not a fluke at this point).

You WILL NOT find a better place in all Schenectady and sad to say, Irey Vybez in Albany, CAN NOT TOUCH the oxtail and food in HERE!!!!! No joke, I am so serious!!!! Off the major charts!!! You have to try this out for a FACT, you will not be disappointed. Trust!!! My neighbor put me on to this spot

The j*** chicken is wings not actual pieces of chicken...a little disappointing but good otherwise.2nd time I went was for a memorial for a family member...I felt the bartender was extremely rude...it is a small place3rd and recent times have been a much more enjoyable experience. Food was tasty, owners very personable. Would definitely recommend ?
