First time here overall not bad. Food/Drink: Pizza by the slice! Pretty good New York style pizza. Regular amount of options and combos. Full Italian style menu, appetizers, entrees, pizza, soups, salads, and desserts! Mixed in some Spanish/Mexican items too. Pizza: Needed more crunch not too much, left me wanting more of a bite. Very flavorful, super oily though, the cheeses is the culprit. Sauce was good not too sweet could have used a little more garlic but hey is it ever enough? Dinning Area: Pretty large, small, area. Benches, large counter. Limited of seating! Prices: Relatively cheap. Parking: Plenty of space, shared strip mall type stand alone lot. Bathrooms: Bathrooms were clean and regular size. Atmosphere: During the weekday lunch rush, it was a windy bitter cold day so this would be unfair. It was empty. Staff/Attendants: Staff overall was young, and unsociable. Not like the children of my generation. Relatively attentive but otherwise boredom stricken. Decent experience...idk maybe one more try! 6/10

Tried to place a large order over the phone, the guy was extremely rude when we asked if we could do a different sauce on the chicken pizza (due to an allergy to red sauce) and said that it couldn't be done.

First visit 12/15/23. Ordered a 12 cut with sausage and pepperoni. It was awesome. My favorite local pizza place closed a while back, and I have been looking for a replacement. I found it.

The absolute best place for pizza in scotia glenville. Their plain cheese pizza is just so good!!! I always stop here when I want a slice! Been going here for over a couple years now and it’s always been delicious. Have been good with takeout as well. A little pricey but it’s really good pizza

My favorite place to get subs. They're often recommended more for their pizza (which is amazing) but I'm more in love with their subs. This is the only place that I can get an amazing roast beef sub! I've been going here since I was in Middle School, 10/10 most definitely recommend going here for Lunch or Dinner depending on the mood. They also have delicious cookies!Parking: When you get there, it may seem like there's barely any parking but there is if you go earlier than noon time (11-11:30 AM works) or after 1:00 PM (1:30 is a good time to go). It's an in and out type feel more than a dine in, though you can, and I usually do since I don't often go alone.

I remember when Giovanni's opened a few years after I bought my house up the road in Glenville. I was so happy to have a place literally ON THE WAY home from work! Sadly, the pizza was TERRIBLE. The worst. I mean, the box was probably better than the actual pizza crust.I have faithfully tried Giovanni's every few years ever since then, and it hasn't gotten any better. Last time I tried it was pre-pandemic and it was just as dreadful as I first remembered it to be. I honestly have no idea how they have stayed in business over the years since there are so many REALLY GREAT pizza places within just a mile or two.The only reason I'm writing this review is that my husband recently made the mistake of stopping for a slice on the way home from running errands. He took one bite and tossed the rest in the trash.. Save yourself, eat elsewhere.

I can go in buy 2 slices and a root beer for say, $8.50 in round numbers. Which is exactly what I’m looking for. It’s not fancy or anything and I’m not gonna say it isn’t pretty much the same pizzeria that you’ll find anywhere else upstate/capital region. But they do what pizzerias do good. Put cheap pizza in your mouth with oregano and garlic!

My girlfriend and I only eat at Giovannis, pizza wise. She tells me how perfect their pizza is, and honestly I agree. Have been eating only their pizza in the area for the last 4 years since finding out about them. Never turning back. Giovannis Pizza in Scotia NY does it right. 10 out of 10 crust, cheese, and sauce.

Pizza was good however the subs are nothing like the Connecticut grinder's. Worst meatball sub I have ever had.
