I'm not sure why but in the past I was never a great fan of Shah's, but I have then another few chances lately and was very pleasantly surprised. The only things I've ordered so far are the chicken or lamb over rice or salad, but both were great. And I really love that they give you packets of the white sauce (which I like much more now than in the past) so you can put as little or as much as you want. The food is good and spicy. Dishes are prepared at your request after they fill container about half with rice. Too much for my taste, even when asked for "very little rice". The rice is savory and well cooked, not white. The meats whether chicken or otherwise are diced small and very tasty. The salad compliments are great, but not enough usually getting onto the dish.
