The fried fish was good and crispy without being greasy, and the potato soup was yummy. The French silk pie was just too heavy and creamy for me, but I tried the coconut cream my friend ordered, and liked that filling much better! Others in my group were not as pleased with some of their meals. I liked the rustic and cozy atmosphere and decor, but the live music made it too loud to have any conversations, so we didn't enjoy that too much! Service was fast and friendly, so no complaints there!

Went on a Saturday for lunch. I I enjoyed the food. They had a good variety to choose from. They had a good beer and wine menu and drink specials. My waitperson was very good. The tree in the lobby has a nice story about it.Vegetarian options: Salad and baby bakers.

My little family of 5 went there for dinner after driving 6 hrs to get to the area. We were tired, hungry, and my kids were rammy and energetic. When we pulled in I could tell it was going to be a cool experience. Walking into the restaurant you are welcomed by giant tree trunk from floor to ceiling. The decor reminds me of the movie Road House but if the movie was for families. My boys liked the sports, and hunting wall icons. We loved it. The staff is just as incredible. My little guy was struggling with the menu and what to pick. Lisa sat down and waited until he was ready. The food amazing or as my oldest says bussin. From the extra crispy wings and the sauces (**Werewolf: a sneakily spicy sweet and smoky wonder. This sauce tricks you into thinking it's Blazing Maple then all of a sudden slaps your tongue and throat with a blast of heat.**), to the burgers, fried pickles, salmon salad and kids chicken tenders with mac and cheese, everyone really enjoyed it. My kids can be choosy but they really enjoyed the food. A note for those that like a good brew: the Skidmark Pb and Chocolate is so good. The owner even stopped and spoke with us. Well to top off all of that the dessert again so satisfying. We had the moose ball, moose ball pie, and the chocolate and cinnabunn cheesecakes. Thank you for an amazing meal with much needed laughs and atmosphere. A great start to our trip to see the Eclipse.Kid-friendliness: Our kids felt comfortable and loved the staff, food and dessert. Lisa joked with our oldest and made him smile which in these teenage years he doesn't always do anymore ;-). Even our loud energetic family felt welcomed.

Service and atmosphere is great! Rustic charm, and attentive staff, however, Found plastic in my shrimp chowder. They deducted the $4 side from my order. Also the $1 cookies looked like chips ahoy, small, cold. Not recommended.
