“What a wonderful find! While visiting Rome for a sporting event, I had overheard someone mention the name of this restaurant. When I looked it up online and saw the menu offerings, we decided to give it a try. First, it is the most adorable place! A converted house on the edge of a residential neighborhood with a lovely ambiance inside. Front of the house is a well-stocked bar with high-top tables for those who like a bar eating atmosphere. The back is tables for two and four with real linens (rare these days), quaint table-top lighting (remember those nightclub table lights from the ‘50s and ‘60s?), and small vases with simple dried floral arraignments. The wine and liquor menu is extensive (we don’t drink, but I looked), and the food menu is small but varied, with something for everyone. Part of their menu changes monthly, part is static. We tried things from both.The static offering of Lobster Bisque with a small crab cake floating in the center was amazing! Light, creamy, and flavorful with plenty of lobster throughout. The crab cake was a delicious little addition. Their other regular offering we tried of Fried Calamari with marinara sauce was fairly standard, with nice rings that were not overcooked, as so many places do. We also ordered a monthly special appetizer of Fried Artichoke wrapped in Prosciutto on a bed of sautéed asparagus with a balsamic glaze. Quite tasty and beautifully presented. Our entree specials were Chicken Marsala, served over bucatini pasta (rather than the offered mashed potatoes), and a dish called Miss Jenny, which was the house’s take on Eggplant Parmigiana - panko breaded slices of fried eggplant layered with fresh sautéed spinach and mozzarella, served atop a bed of bucatini with marinara sauce. Both entrees were delicious!Our bill was probably higher than most because we were really hungry and wanted to try lots of dishes.The service was friendly and attentive, and we got to meet the owner as we left - so happy to tell him about our wonderful experience!If you’re passing through Rome, or if you’re local (lucky), visit this lovely restaurant! “What a great find ! Quiet casual atmosphere, with great food. The menu has lots of home cooking favorites to choose from. The burgers are amazing looking and based on what I saw, they are very popular. Almost every table had someone enjoying one in their group. They guy next to me had one version of their burger that arrived and was 9" high on his plate and when he was done I asked how it was, he said "amazing " I had the pot roast and that was a treat. Huge chunks of super tender beef in a rich gravy with carrots etc. piled high over a creamy mashed potato. Really a well made dish. My friend had a burger, she said was delicious. ⚠️ When you walk in the desert display is filled with lots of very tempting choices. They are just as good as they look. The chocolate chip cookies are so good. Our waitress was so friendly and quick. Everything about this place works and we will seek it out again. I want a burger next time! Ps had a side of Mac and cheese that knocked my socks off. If you like a casual American fare, with home style flavors you will not be disappointed going here. Not a big place maybe 10 or 12 tables. “I enjoyed this restaurant with my family very much. We went for lunch and there was a great selection of lunch specials in addition to their regular menu. We did not wait more than two minutes for a table. Our waitress was friendly and checked up on our table frequently. As soon as we sat down our waitress asked us what would we like to drink and brought us some soft bread with this delicious butter garlic. Our drinks came out fast as well as our food. My sister had the Mac and Cheese. She said she especially liked theirs because it tasted sweet and not like other restaurants who sometimes use sharper cheeses in this dish. The fries must have been good because the little one ate all of them. The steak sandwich was nice. The bread was soft and the steak filling was a good portion. I would say maybe they could offer some kind of steak sauce on the side or add a vegetable side to this dish (thus why only 4 stars). Overall, this restaurant was great and my sister said she definitely wants to go back soon.“

“I ordered boneless wings for pick up on wing night. I got there she gave me my order and I went home. When I got home, I discovered that the wings had bones in them. So I called and explained. She said to give some time and they'd whip up a new batch.Someone from Marble Hill then called back and reminded me to bring the 'wrong' wings back.I got there an hour after my first pick up and the bartender whisked away the 'wrong' wings and went into the back. She said my wings were 'almost done'.I waited at least 5 minutes before they brought out my wings, set them in front of me, and walked away.Not one apology for the wrong order.Not one apology for me having to come back twice.Not one offer of, I dunno, extra wings? A beer while I wait? A coupon? Nothing.They make a mistake, and it costs me money to rectify it (gas, time, etc.) and no one can even acknowledge my inconvenience?They could have at least let me keep the 'wrong' wings and then given me the right ones.I really like Marble Hill a lot, but this experience was lousy.“

“I miss the days of greasy spoons on weekends. This was a nice treat as I stopped by passing through town. The diner had a nice homey feel, and the food was good. I had a sausage, peppers, and onion omelet with Itlaian toast and coffee. Food was up in about 10 minutes. “I was in the area during lunch and searched for a place I haven't been on Maps. Saw this little place, and decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised! The ladies that were there were friendly and the service prompt. I ordered an Italian Sub. The bread was fantastic, and the ingredients fresh. They know how to build a sub, every ingredient was the right amount. I also tried their Mac salad and pasta salad. The Mac was just how my Grandma used to make and the Pasta salad was delicious. I'm glad I stopped!“

“I've been to this restaurant many times and my experience is always pleasant. I went to school with the owner's daughter and I worked at this restaurant during my high school years so I know what goes into almost every dish. The staff go beyond to offer customers the best food and service possible. My favorite dish is either the gyro or the broiled seafood platter. And the best appetizer is the battered cauliflower. Just go, you will love it.“

“We have done wine tastings, listened to live music indoor during the winter and outdoors during the summer and also had some great food at Villa Verona Vineyard. There's ample parking, great food and excellent service. Maybe try some of their classes they offer, the wine glass painting was cool.“

“We had a group of 15 for dinner, we were seated right away, service was fast, food was fresh and delicious. It's a beautiful view and nice atmosphere. We live in Buffalo and take a yearly drive to the area to spend the day at decided to try Harpoons this year and it didn't disappoint!“
