“Love this Thai restaurant. It’s relatively casual, and not a huge place. The food has been consistently good which is hard to find! Love the pad Thai with tofu and spring rolls. We’re lucky to have this place.”

“This place has been here for a while and yet I’m gonna call it a hidden gem! It’s tucked away into a small storefront with another shop and is worth you stopping if you need some cooking off.The big thing here is the homemade frozen custard…making it so much softer, smoother, and creamier than traditional ice cream. All the flavors you expect and a cute outdoor patio with tables and ample seating.They also make great take home desserts like ice cream cakes and pies which are amazing for a party or celebration.”

“Romano's started as our favorite and go-to pizza place in the area. We've recently used them for catering, and they blew away our expectations, the food was absolutely delicious! All of our guests loved the food as well. So we will be going back for more than just pizza. They always, always deliver on time, both when delivering our pizza and the catering orders.When we call, they know who we are, when we walk in, they know who we are. We are always greeted so nicely and the owners are always accommodating. We have toddlers and they are just so nice to us and them and so patient. We recently made some special requests and they accommodated us just so our toddlers were happy.I can keep going, just do yourself a favor and stop in, have a slice or a dish, you won't regret it.”

“The breads are really fantastic but the prices are not. The sour dough boule is $22 and the baguette is not far behind. I have had many gluten free breads over the years from the West Coast to the East Coast and I have never encountered such an expensive bread. It is also quite small compared to other gluten free breads. The bread is delicious for an occasional indulgence.”

“We were looking for a restaurant that was close to a community theatre event we were attending, and decided to try 901 Wood Burning Kitchen and Bar. What a pleasant surprise! The food and service were really top notch! And the menu supported many different dietary requirements from vegetarian to gluten free. They can accommodate large parties, but its also great if you want to stop by for a seat at their spacious bar and have a drink and appetizers or a pizza. And I also want to mention we had I think the best gluten free dessert I've ever had. It was delicious! We'll definitely be back! Even though it's been over 30 years since I last visited, it warms my heart to see that there is still a deli here on the edge of main street, serving coffee, grab-n-go cooler drinks, and scratch tickets. If Ed and Linda are still around tell them I said hi!”

I ordered chicken fingers and fries as well and the chicken fingers were so good, not tough and perfectly fried. “Our Place has mastered the art of delivering wonderful service. They continue to be a constant place of joy for grabbing a meal as the food is always delicious. There isn't a visit without us ordering their Brie Stuffed Pretzel, along with their Wings, and some Tacos (fish, steak, or fried chicken options), as well as their Cowboy Fried Chicken. “I had originally tried the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich that a coworker brought me and was completely blown away by how good it was. I recently drove from Rockland to get this sandwich with my girlfriend and found out it was actually a seasonal menu item. I opted to try the Thai Fried chicken sandwich and the Green Goddess Chicken Salad BLT instead and both were equally as fantastic as the Buffalo. I would easily try other things on their menu because I know how good it will probably be considering everything I have tried. The Banana Pudding was phenomenal as well. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the area or are looking for a reason to go explore and try something new. Please bring back the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever tried!”

“Another really great find in Mount Kisco, Westchester. A new Turkish, middle-eastern restaurant. We decided to visit using a Local Flavor promotion and are glad we did. My wife ordered the Moussaka. I ordered Adana. Both were incredibly delicious! Really, really delicious. (The Adana, was not as spicy as I've normally experienced. Still, superb.) The room is small. So, you may have to wait. We were there on a Tuesday which would normally be a slow day for most restaurants. But, soon, every table was filled and people were waiting. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The menu is a little bit "pricey." Many entrees are $20 and more. Still, I would encourage you to give this place a try.”

“I popped in to this cute coffee shop and ended up eating some of the most DELICIOUS empanadas I've had in years. There is a bit of indoor seating (and plenty of outdoor seating), so you can relax and enjoy a coffee, in a real cup. The staff were very friendly.”

“I just had brain surgery and I am on a very delicate combination of medications that affect my stomach. At the same time, getting some kind of highly nutritious food is really important for my recovery. My taste buds can’t handle anything too extreme but I still want to eat something delicious. Well let me tell you that I have been living off of Signal Fire Bread and it is doing wonders! When I can’t eat too much it sustains me and I also think it has really helped to rev back up my appetite. Truly whether or not you get brain surgery, I recommend Signal Fire for the tastiest, most nutritious and sustainably made local bread.”

Place had an amazing earthy vibe to it, rare to visit a place that speaks to your soul as this one does. Being a deadhead and hearing old school Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead on the speakers brought a smile to my face. Isaac who owns the place, relocated from Brooklyn, NY and will engage you about the area and fun things to do. If ever in the area, re Highland Falls, NY stop by, you won't be disappointed.Parking: Plenty of parking spots when I went during a Friday am.”

“I picked up Blondery's S'mores Hot Chocolate and a cinnamon roll at the Beacon Farmers Market recently. OMG. The love that goes into their products is undeniable. Their cinnamon roll was everything good that makes up a cinnamon roll -- light, fresh, the perfect touch of cinnamon -- and THE ICING. I can't. Absolutely incredible. The only downfall was having to share with my daughter, whose eye about popped out of her head when she saw the deliciousness I was enjoying. Pairing that with their S'mores Hot Chocolate was the icing on the proverbial cake. There's magic in everything that Blondery creates. I love that they're a part of our community and am excited to try more of their creations. <3”
