Ate here about 4 years ago and literally can’t stop thinking about it. Had a Groupon to go here with my husband and got a tomahawk steak, garlic mashed potatoes, chicken skin fries and crispy Brussels sprouts that I’ll never forget. I now live over an hour away and been thinking about making the trip special for this place cuz it was SOOOOOO good.

Ordered well done burgers for pickup. Got home with the food to find one of the burgers was nearly raw. Driving back to the restaurant was not worth it as it was already 8:00 pm and it’s 15 minutes away. I called to express my dissatisfaction. The manager apologized and refunded the cost of one burger and said she was attaching a $20 gift card to our acct (by our phone number) on a future purchase for the inconvenience. We thought this was reasonable and decent customer service. We accepted the apology and her offer. However, when we returned a few weeks later to claim the gift card, we were told by the owner that the manager had terminated and there is no record of any complaint of the food nor any “gift card,”implying that I was lying. Moreover, according to the smug owner, they cook all burgers to order and as a policy, they don’t give anything more than a refund.I would recommend the owner consider a lesson in customer service from the terminated manager. We’ll take our business elsewhere, I suggest you do the same.

Food was tasty, service excellent and quick, atmosphere relaxing however burgers and fries were cold. Ruined it all.

I rated it 3 stars because the food wasn't that good. I got really sick after eating there. Service and atmosphere was good. But to have a successful restaurant you need great food.

The food was definitely not reflective of the price point.

We visited Roux on Fri 6/24/22 5:30pm. A few people at the outdoor tables but we headed to the bar. What a surprise to see Ronnie, formerly of Sam's, behind the bar. Always had great service from Ronnie at Sam's and he helped us navigate our first visit to Roux. The owner, Angie Teller is another former Sam's employee. As more patrons arrived we were still the only ones at the bar.Ronnie poured our first drinks and told us they were happy hour (4-6pm) prices $5 ea. - good for us.He gave us menus and explained the specials. I had the HH special oysters on the half shell $2. each - Nice.My bride had the fresh & cool burrata & tomato salad w/ grilled chicken ($21) which she enjoyed very much. Note: Chicken, shrimp, salmon, or steak can be added to any salad. I had the shrimp & grits ($26) very full of flavor and a generous portion. And for dessert a 2nd round of drinks. Total $81.A must try for 4+ people is their cheese & charcuterie board ($32)-we saw it on the way to a table, next time for sure.Nice ambience for a bigger place.Hours: Monday: ClosedTuesday: 4:00pm-8:00pmWednesday: 4:00pm-8:00pmThursday: 4:00pm-9:00pmFriday: 4:00pm-9:00pmSaturday: 4:00pm-9:00pmSunday: ClosedWe had a great first visit at Roux. My coworkers raved about Roux so I was excited to try it. Maybe we ordered the wrong dishes? My burrata salad was good but not incredible. One member of our party got the shrimp special. She was underwhelmed. I'm a huge advocate of taking photos for other Yelpers to see, but it didn't even warrant a picture. The best dish of our party was the chicken sandwich. Sounds basic, but boy did it look delicious!!! The fries were very good too. We shared a bottle of rose, which was perfect for our beautiful outdoor patio weather in July. Another table ordered the beet appetizer dish - order that!!! We wished we would have - it looked so good! The service was good. Ambiance was nice. We sat outside and it was a basic patio. Nothing really worthy of more words.

Confusion overcame us as soon as we stepped foot in the door. The dining room was empty, yet, we were greeted with a skeptical, "um did you make a reservation?" to which we replied that we had. "Oh, ok, your table is ready." Maybe the place would fill up while we were there? Maybe not. We started with a few drinks which were excellent and we ordered an app that was delish. (Half hour in, the place is still empty). After polishing off the drinks and app, the dishes sat and sat and sat. Upon the arrival of our main courses, the dishes still sat. One of the waiters kind of scoffed at the lack of room to place a main course dish. Well, if the dishes had been cleared, there would have been plenty of room. Finally, they were, but only with our prompting. (One hour in, the place is still empty). The main dishes were fine. Oily, but fine. Nothing to necessarily write home about, but decent enough to enjoy. (1.5 hours in.....another table gets seated!). Why two stars you ask? The wait staff is not overly friendly, or overly competent. The food is decent. The drinks are very good....they may actually deserve their own star. (2.5 hours in, still just us and one other table). In their defense, they do have outdoor seating, so....... But still, definitely no need for the "um, do you have a reservation?" So much potential. Just needs a lot of fine tuning.

Its a smaller menu of rustic american food. If you think you might like something, you will. Drinks are strong, too.

Wow… heard good things about this place and I am not sure why. Maybe it was an off night? Then menu looked limited but everything looked great. It took a bit to decide. The bread appetizer that was $8 was good. Butter, cheese, seasoning… ok good start. I ordered the Burger with Bacon. I was told by a friend that it was great so I went with that. It’s a smash burger, like a patty melt, so it only comes cooked one way - medium well to well. I took one bite and immediately thought I was at Burger King. That’s how the burger tasted and I could not get it out of my head. It was good, and juicy, but still tasted like a fast food burger. I was not looking for a BK burger tonight. My wife ordered a side salad. WAY over dressed. She ate it, only because of her meal. She order the gnocchi. Not good. We couldn’t peg why… undercooked? Too much flour? Not sure but it had a grainy texture and it just wasn’t right. And for a gnocchi, it just wasn’t what we had expected or ever had in the past. Through this we decided to try the zeppoles - they saved the meal. They were very good. While they say you typically remember the last thing you ate, we discussed the meal and how disappointed we were at every step. Please note, the staff was very good. No complaints. Bring a sweater or sweatshirt, just in case. We sat inside and it was on the cooler side. It may have been an off night, but we will not be going back. Too many other places to try in the area. Cheers.

American cuisine at its finest! Dishes were beautifully prepared and even tastier than they appeared. The atmosphere is the perfect balance of intimate and relaxed. Prices are very reasonable. We will visit again soon!

Ordered two NY Strip Steaks that came out at room temperature. No offer to discount or fix the problem when the manager was informed. At $36 each, he reluctantly gave a discount of $8 on each steak only after being approached and was rude. My dinner salad also hit the table after the steak came. Waitress was nice. Manager was not. Stick with the $10 specials. Happy Birthday to me.

Great vibe and location to grab a drink with friends. Interior is not overly bright and allows for quiet conversation. Nice selection of micro brews. I had a Fiddlehead IPA and my compadre had a dirty martini.

I have only been to Roux a few times. Went on a slow Friday for a light meal. We specified wanting a small amount of food and side rather than full sized salad. The salad came and it was huge, checked with the server that it was a side portion. We were charged for the full sized and when we asked for correction the manager took the server’s side and did not adjust the bill. It was very disappointing experience. We left feeling terrible and have no interest in returning. The food was tasty though.
