Last night was the 3rd time I’ve dined at Dirty taco in smithtown! Anytime I come there the food is great, the staff is super friendly and we always have a good time! The wait was about 45 minutes but the girl in the front was really hustling to get everyone seated and so was the gentleman working with her!! I normally don’t write reviews but felt it shouldn’t have gone unnoticed!!! And was impressed! We will be back again!!

I’ve been here quite a few times as friends love this place (and it seems so do most reviewers here) but I don’t understand at all. I’ve ordered, and tasted, a wide selection of the food and it’s all been mediocre at best. Menu items sound great, but ultimately all I’ve tried are just bland and any promised flavor from spicy offerings remain just hot, not flavorful. Staff can be hit or miss as some say, but I’ve had better service and fun, attentive staff than bad - or let’s just say uninterested servers. Pretty sad, as the space, bar and drinks are all great. I’d recommend doing the bar and some of the apps, which are much better than the mains. Dinner isn’t worth it.

Dirty Taco was absolutely exceptional. The portions were filling compared to other taco places I’ve been to and it wasn’t too little to where you still felt hungry but also wasn’t too much to where you’d get bored of the flavor. The dirty nachos appetizer was great flavor and crispy. Everything was so good and I’m not surprised my friends have all raved about this place. Busy even in weekdays but fast service. Love it!

Large restaurant, waiting time for a table about 15 minutes on a weeknight. Waiter knowledgeable and friendly. Delicious food, restaurant can get loud and noisy, clean restrooms and plenty of parking

I give this place an 8 out of 5 stars. The food was so good I got goosebumps! The service was amazing, and the flexibility to accommodate any size party or experience from traditional sit down to clubbing is extraordinary! The decor is eye-catching, and the drinks are not to be missed. Tacos are very reasonably priced, and the complex combination of ingredients will have you feeling like you traveled the world in one sitting. For me it was Japan (ahi tuna), Korea (Korean short rib), and Jamaica (Jamaican jerk). All of which I recommend.
