West Seneca has been missing a place like this. Got the take out bbq dinner for two. Food was amazing and so much of it! If they do takeout this good I can't wait to see what the food is in person! Excited to make this one of our go to places.

I held my daughter's graduation brunch at The Standard and we were all blown away! The food was truly phenomenal and all the guests are still raving about it. The assortment of food was not something any of us had seen at a brunch buffet before. Plus the quality of food was top notch. Chef Kevin made a french toast casserole that everyone swooned over. It's just incredible. The restaurant isn't fully open yet as they're waiting on their liquor license so we had the whole place to ourselves. It was really a lovely party that everyone enjoyed. I really do have to say something about the family that is running the place and their staff. EVERYONE is so incredibly nice and accommodating. They made us feel like part of their family and all our guests commented on that. They were genuinely interested in hearing about the guest of honor and were excited for her big day. It was icing on the cake, shall we say, to a wonderful event! I highly recommend working with this group, they do catering too. I can't wait to stop in when the dining room is open. My only regret is not taking pictures of the buffet BEFORE we ate!

What an amazing place! Can hardly wait until they are able to do sit down dinners. In the meantime we did take-out and thoroughly enjoyed the lobster roll, with the shrimp cocktail...wait there's more...the New England clam chowder, the coleslaw, and cheesecake for dessert! Like I said amazing! We'll have to wait until tomorrow to have the ribs, mac n cheese, and potatoes. Our two meals are really enough for 4 to 6 servings! Wow, looking forward to return visits to The Standard!

Ordered two meals off the Mother’s Day menu... Everything from the salad to the dessert was incredible! I wish I took a picture beforehand, but it looked and smelled too good for my brain to have a chance to think of it

Friday night/birthday takeout order with steak, lobster, New England clam chowder and bread. Greeted by a friendly staff upon pickup. Food was hot and ready to go when got it home. Steak was cooked medium rare, perfectly tender cut. Clam chowder was one of the best if not the best I’ve had. Lobster was great with butter dipping sauce. Bread wasn’t the frozen sponge kind you get at some places, very good.

To say I am disappointed in the Easter Dinner for 2 would be an understatement. As I indicated in the email string with The Standard when placing my order, my mom has cancer, stage 4. This was probably her last Easter. She loves filet so I thought I would treat her. Please see the attached photo. Mom and I split one of the filet's because I wanted her to have the other piece for dinner during the week. This is what it looked like when we cut one piece of filet in half. This piece of meat is still mooing!!! Are you kidding me?Needless to say, my mom couldn't even look at it let alone eat it.The asparagus was hard, the salad was lame, the dressing was tasteless and the bread had zero taste.I try to support local, especially during this pandemic. I paid $85 with tax and threw in a $10 tip, for a total of $95 for 2 pieces are raw meat.Easter dinner was ruined, my mom had some shrimp and some potato's.

Delicious take out. Can't wait for them to open the dining room.

Whoa....my mind is blown. If you're looking for the best deal in town on a fish fry that is absolutely delicious...you must try The Standard!!! Run, don't walk!! So it is $25 and you get all this food- shrimp cocktail, New England clam chowder, bread and butter, fish fry (breaded, beer battered or broiled), Cole slaw, Mac salad, roasted potatoes and cheesecake with a strawberry sauce. The best part- everything is homemade (no frozen or packaged products here) and cooked to perfection. This amount of food could easily feed 2 or even 3 people. I am going to anxiously await the opening of the restaurant. I am already eyeing up the dine in menu and literally cannot wait to try more food from here. So happy that Cheektowaga/West Seneca area has a place to get high quality food!! Thanks for a great meal!!

I've always disliked long reviews, but this place needs a complete review! If you want a typical battered fish fry that is hard, crunchy, swimming in grease, wrapped in wax paper (protecting your salads) next to mushy, reheated french fries and a slice of rye bread that is topped off with a packet of butter, a packet of tartar sauce and a packet of ketchup all put together in a styrofoam container, put into a small paper bag that spills grease all over the place, then DON'T COME HERE.Yes, their prices are a little higher than other local restaurants, but this food is EXCEPTIONAL. Not only well prepared food, but their portions are generous. We definitely have enough for two meals from a single fish fry.We ordered one fish fry and one CODFATHER. I highly recommend the CODFATHER. If you are used to paying twelve dollars for a fish fry, adding on a cup/bowl of chowder and then having dessert with your coffee while dining in, you realize that this is a great price. The CLAM CHOWDER is absolutely delicious. I wasted one third of the soup trying to guess the spices and ingredients before I decided it was better to just enjoy each spoonful of fresh clams and absolutely wonderful flavor! The PRAWNS are delicious. Lightly seasoned, very large and eight in all. Only ate three because they were so large and I wanted to enjoy a taste of everything. The BATTERED FISH has a lightly seasoned coating with just enough crunch without excessive grease. The POTATOES are well seasoned, fresh and plentiful. Serving is two medium to large potatoes cut into quarters. No cubed, wrinkled skin, mushy potatoes served here.To get an idea of how generous the potatoes and fish are, these two items are put in a disposable foil tray which is 10" x 13" and fills the entire space. A very large wedge of a very fresh lemon is also included! The MACARONI salad is not your typical elbow noodle with too much mayo. This salad is made with tuna and shell pasta to hold all the delicious ingredients together. This is packed in a separate container. The COLE SLAW is very good. It had a slightly different taste than the usual, but I liked it. This is also packed separately. I appreciate this! The ROLLS are fresh, lightly seasoned and wrapped in foil to keep them warm. No soggy rye bread here.Butter, tartar sauce, cocktail sauce all packaged nicely in ramekins with lids. Their tartar sauce is very fresh and very good. The CHEESECAKE is creamy and delicious. With all these carefully packaged food containers, I really appreciate the oversized bag with handles to carry the food home.I can't wait to be able to dine indoors and sit outside on the patio this summer.West Seneca now has a restaurant with delicious, high quality, carefully prepared food!

Just ordered the Saturday bbq dinner for 2...it was amazing! Best ribs I’ve ever eaten! Mac n cheese was great as was the pulled pork and the chicken!!! Couldn’t eat the cheesecake because I was so full and there is plenty leftover for another full meal tomorrow!! Highly recommend this restaurant !!!!!

We’ve had the fish, surf and turf, and Bbq all excellent! Can hardly wait to dine in for some oysters. This will be our regular spot several times a week. Thanks for opening a great restaurant in West Seneca!

Omg you must eat food from this place!! I bought their fish dinners on Wednesday and we have enough to eat until Friday!!! And sooo good!!! I love good home cooked food and this is tops right down to the rolls. Clam chowder with loads of clams. Shrimp!!! Salads!!! Potatoes!!! Everything was perfect , huge portions, fresh food and friendly service. Great first time experience and I will definitely be back!!!

We called in to order our Ash Wednesday fish fry and requested no salads, so they doubled the potatoes! The fish and rosemary potatoes were perfect! Everything was packaged so nicely and everyone there was very friendly. We’ll be back for take out, but anxiously await when we’ll be able to come in and sit down.

New Restaurant in West Seneca waiting on their liquor license but offering takeout at the moment. They are offering one hell of a deal now though, it's called the Codfather! For $25 you will receive all of the following ..... a cup of New England Clam Chowder, a Shrimp Cocktail appetizer, a full fish fry and a piece of cheesecake. My father and I split the deal and we were both more than satisfied. The clam chowder was fantastic, the shrimp were plump (accompanied by cocktail sauce) and my fish fry came with roasted potatoes, coleslaw, tuna mac salad and 2 rolls. The dessert came with strawberry sauce on the side. Probably the best presentation of a take out order I have ever seen too, items were packaged accordingly in nice microwave and dishwasher safe containers, salads were separate from entree to prevent them for leaking all over and getting too warm. I can't wait to check out the restaurant once they open for dine in service, the atmosphere was very inviting when picking up my order. It would be great to treat myself to a night on the town with some steak and fresh seafood!
