“I don't usually write reviews on Google but I feel compelled to write in support of Lisa, Dan and The Tasty Table. My husband and I are frequent weekend guests at The Tasty Table because we like the food and the way we are treated as guests. I've noticed some less than positive reviews focused on difficulties getting a table during their busiest weekend times. This should indicate to all who are interested in going to The Tasty Table of how wonderful a restaurant it is. My suggestion is to take advantage of the 30 minute call aheads that are offered. You won't be disappointed!“

“Wowsa what a meal!!! Friends had posted beautiful pics of their meals from their tasting menu. It's cute: half the restaurant is a traditional dining room and the other is take out fish and chips. You can have a delicious meal a la carte or the tasting menu. I could not convince my husband to do the 15 course chef's tasting menu. But we did do the tasting menu with wine. Every dish was light, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. We enjoyed the wine pairings which were different (portuguese and spanish wines rounded out some American and South African wines). I am excited to come back to try more of their traditional menu and their namesake (fish and chips). Well worth a visit.“

“Our party of 4 thoroughly enjoyed a Friday night at the Gramercy. The staff welcomed the early arrivers and offered beverages and comfortable couch seating in the invitingly-decorated space. Lauren, our bartender, made an excellent dirty martini as requested. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, skilled and knowledgeable in an upbeat, "happy to see you there" kind of way. All entrees (the angel hair with shrimp and the special pounded breaded pork shop parmesan) were generously portioned, prepared and presented perfectly, and our two desserts pleased all. The super star of the evening was the paella for two. It was OUTSTANDING with an abundance of fish & chorizo over the most delicious tomato saffron rice foundation. We will go back just to have the paella again, it was THAT memorable!“

“Awesome date night spot with amazing food and super lively vibe. Cool bar scene and main dining area has a fireplace. Our group shared a bunch of appetizers and starters (oysters and lobster cocktail). The Clam Chowder was great and refreshingly had an appropriate portion of clams. The Big Eye Tuna, which also has spicy shrimp over vegetable fried rice was incredible and cooked perfectly. No question I'll be back. Highly recommend.“

“The food was delicious, their French onion soup was the best I’ve ever had and my wife loved her salad. For dinner I had the ribeye, which had great aged flavor and my wife had the pasta special which she loved. On the negatives, the marrow bone in the soup was kind of cold so the marrow was like eating a hunk of cold butter. I ordered my steak medium rare and it was more medium, but everything was still delicious. The noise level was off the charts, it’s a busy bar and was as loud as a frat party, that was annoying.“

“This is our go-to whenever we feel like a good steak and a glass of wine. Aside from their Wednesday's Prime Rib Special, their steak selections are plentiful to choose from. All of the servers we have had (Jessica, Mike, and Michael) are engaging and wonderful.“

“Making a delivery for Uber which is funny I came to this place for the first time. Looking around I knew that this was a place I wanted to try. So I went back and how amazing is the food. A healthy option for good. I came here twice already and did the hamburger the first time and it was so good. The staff is friendly and always have a smile to help seat and serve you. The food came on time and hot. The second time I went then I had the chicken sliders and man oh man so flavorful. This is a place I would recommend and also take my family to for any function.“

We'll eat slowly. We ordered mussels for appetizer. Then I had a wild fish taco, Hubby had a Village burger, and our friend had a duck quesadilla; I am not kidding; it's a duck quesadilla! Of course, I had my hot green tea! I love my hot tea during brunch or lunch. The mussel was phenomenal! The food was exceptional! We loved everything that we ordered. The homemade creamy sauce that they used on top of my taco was fantastic. I don't usually like creamy sauce or anything with my food, but I definitely enjoyed this one. I tried my Friends entree and I will say what I tried was fabulous. I love Norca the bartender and she gives wonderful service. Norca makes you feel like you don't want to leave, she is very welcoming and warm. I like to visit this restaurant when Norca is working. When Norca doesn't work I don't show up and neither does my friends. Very nice decor comfortable atmosphere great vibes all the way around. The pizza is also great too. The restaurant is perched right on the Hudson but outdoor seating is first-come, first served. We wound up inside. Friendly service, solid food, including brick chicken, calamari and Atlantic salmon. It's also a great place to enjoy brunch on a sunny day. Just get their early if you want to eat al fresco.“

“A very homey and charming place to grab food with family or close friends. For apps I recommend the calamari and bruschetta. As a main dish the Snapper w/ mashed potatoes was also really great, but next time would try a pasta dish. Overall great service and super friendly waiters!“

“Food was good. Service was quick the location is nice but it's a little small. I only had typical El Salvadorian pupusas. They were very good. I would go back for those again but seems like a lot of people came for the soups. Which I didn't try. It gets busy but mostly take out. I would order the Spanish food since everyone there is Spanish. I don't think the Italian side of the kitchen will be as good as the el Salvadorian one since there is not Italians cooking it.“

“I passed this diner for years while making deliveries and never realized what was inside. Thanks to Instagram, we finally made it inside. Plenty of parking in the lot. There is an outside patio for when the weather is nice. Very clean and updated inside. It has a good feel when you walk in, definitely not a typical diner. Friendly and helpful staff.We definitely came because of Instagram. They do a great job getting attention and make it a draw. The food is good, but it is overhyped. We tried a few different menu items. There is a section that literally says Instagram favorites. The names are catchy and definitely appealed to me. They also have a full diner menu. I had the Mac and cheese burger which was on the regular menu. Very delicious. I preferred it over the Instagram section. We also tried the Jersey Shore and Bronx Tale Wrap. Both were good, but definitely overhyped. I would come back if in the area, but wouldn’t be looking to make a special trip.“
