Haven't had Baskin Robbins in a long time. Flavor & quality went WAY DOWN! I remember going to the 1st BR many years ago. Check your receipts. They were having a special promotion. Buy 2 scoops & you get a FREE waffle cone. Yeah o.k. They charged me twice for the free cone.

Me, my daughter, and 2 friends of mine went to Baskin Robins in Somers, NY. It was nice inside. The boy who assisted us tried doing his best, and he did. But he made a mistake on my daughters order. Which was totally fine. Because he fixed it and was able to. We were fine. Unfortunately when I headed to go pay for my friends this horrible rude woman who was at the cashier asked what did you order? And her co-worker who came over to help the guy who assisted us who made a mistake told her nicely what happened and not to charge us extra. And she totally ignored the nice guy and did not give him a chance to explain it correctly. She does NOT want to listen to him. She moved on, and kept pushing us that there was more than we thought. There wasn’t even more when the co worker told her to not charge. She is working in the wrong place and wrong town because in Somers there are multiple elderly in the plaza and they are not able to be treated like that. She was very disrespectful. - P.S. horrible experience with her. The two boys are super nice and very helpful at all times. They should be the managers!

We have come across a couple of very polite and helpful servers here. However especially lately, the majority of the servers have been anywhere from unknowledgeable to completely unhelpful and humorless. It is a shame for us because we don't like to criticize fun places, however this place has turned out to be mostly not fun. On the 31st of each month, Baskin Robbins offers a discount scoop of ice-cream. We were given quite skimpy portions for the value and the servers did not even know about the deal. The other day when we purchased a cookie ice-cream sandwich, the cashier made mistake and almost charged us extra, the worst part was that was that she did not acknowledge her mistake. We don’t recommend this place.

Got a scoop of ice cream and then had to walk over to the donut area to pay. 1 lady in front of me and stood there more than 5 minutes to pay, my ice cream melting away. The ice cream side should have a separate cash register so customers don't have to wait for donut patrons to get their order. And there was a strange chemical smell in the place making the enjoyment factor disappear.

I'm very unhappy with this place. The first i picked up my specialty cake it wasn't even made. I complained to someone and they were very nice, apologetic and offered me a free box of donuts. The second time i ordered a cake was last Wednesday for fathers day/graduation to be picked up Saturday. I wanted a Oreo Triple Choc cake with Praline and cream fudge crunch in the middle and oreo ice cream. I told her no cake just ice cream. She said she was not sure if they make cakes

I really didn't want to resort to writing a bad review but I feel I've been left with no choice! Due to their disorganization and young teens running the place, everyone is unprofessional all the way down to the owner. My initial visit was to place an order for a cake and I should have run out of there then! Had a rude encounter with one of the young teens working there but I tried to let it go. Called a day before I was supposed to pick up my cake to confirm it was going to be ready the following day and to also confirm the name. Picked it up the following day to be greeted with a cake having a completely different name on it. The manager tried his best to take off the name and wrote the correct name over it. When I brought the cake to my son's birthday party, there were remnants of the original name behind my son's sloppily written name. It was so embarrassing. I knew I would have to contact them to rectify this, since I received a cake that I would have never paid for. I tried reaching out to the owner, a couple of days later, to rectify the situation and his remedy was not a remedy at all. He actually asked me to bring back the cake so he could refund me, or he could make me another cake. How insulting?! What was I supposed to do, not have a cake for my son on his Birthday? I told him I wanted to be reimbursed and that I did not want to step foot in his store again due to the rude staff and disorganization. He said since I had eaten the cake the best he could do was to make me a new cake! Yes, just what I need another birthday cake for my son's Birthday, 3 weeks later. Due to this store being a franchise, corporate can't send a reimbursement, only the owner can. This is embarrassing for how this is being handled and extremely infuriating. You trust a franchise to deliver what they promise, and when they mess up and you bring it to their attention they ignore your request to be reimbursed. Shame on you!
