Don't take it like some people tell you, ask for one without chopping and they give it spicy, they don't understand, they always give you something else that you don't understand.

The food used to be good when the old owners were there. I've been ordering here for 10 years. When the new owners took over , the food wasn't worth the money . I recently order a chicken low mein and found a fly inside . I won't be ordering back , just gotta find a new place to eat.

This place was my number one go-to spot in my late teens to very early twenties. It was the best spot for excellent Chinese take-out with a staff--who were family-- that were very kind, welcoming, and quick. Unfortunately, there came a time I stopped going, mainly because of a chronic issue I suffer from (not related to food thankfully, but food can cause pain for the chronic issue!)Not to mention college began taking up a lot of time. But I still blame myself for not giving them all of my support, even though they were doing phenomenally till the day they sold the place to new owners, which I found out from the owner himself when I ran into him.I decided to try this place again to see if the new owners kept the same standards and quality as the previous owners. The restaurant itself still looks the same. Stuck in the late 90s and early 2000s in design, but I associate that with these classic Chinese take-out spots. It's a nice nostalgic feeling! It could use a bit of cleaning in some corners, but nothing I saw raised alarms. Prices are still somewhat the same, with the menu only having a few new additions like Shrimp Dumplings.I ordered Orange Chicken with White Rice, Chicken Nuggets, and two pieces of Chicken Wings. It came hot and fresh, just as I expected from my favorite spot all those years ago. Sadly, as I bit into my Orange Chicken, I could tell the food quality had changed a bit. The Orange Chicken was flavorful but lacked some of the tang the original had, probably because they only put one single strip of orange skin in it.Don't get me wrong, it's still good, although if you had it like me way back in the day with the original owners, you'll know it slightly dipped in quality. And unfortunately, there were several dark, tough, and overcooked pieces of chicken, some with a funky taste as well, as if dishwater might've touched it. It was only a few pieces, but it's not something I should be getting in any meal. Thankfully, it was only a few pieces that I put aside as the rest of the chicken was good and meaty bites. The rice is the same as any other white rice at other Chinese take-out spot. The Chicken Nuggets were good, although they definitely come from the same supplier that many other spots get theirs from. The perfect McNugget copy-cat as I like to call them. The original owners had Chicken Nuggets that stood out from the rest and were much meatier bites. Now the Chicken Wings. The original owners used to season their Chicken Wings in a broth, which you can tell by the delicious soupy taste and the yellow tint in the crispy skin and meat. They were always a must-order for me! However, while it does seem like the new owners do the same type of seasoning, the flavor doesn't pop anymore. The Chicken Wings still look delicious and are crispy as they should be--the new ones aren't as juicy. Crispy but lacking the juicy soup-y flavor the original had.I know the new owners--who are, by the way, good welcoming people who provided me with good service--are trying their best, and may have needed to scale back a bit to not increase prices by too much. Or just decided to make some changes to the food. It's still good Chinese take-out. You might love it, and likely will. This just comes from someone who used to go here constantly back then and came back to see how the new owners are holding things up.It's no longer my go-to, unfortunately. Since the flavor and some minor food issues had disappointed me, but it's still a good second option that I can't go wrong with. Plus, a good recommendation for me to give to others. I just hope they don't continue serving pieces of overcooked chicken, and that they check their orange sauce bottle to make sure no bit of dishwater was left behind.

The food was good and they have a good portion of food. I would definitely go back here again and try something else.
