I cannot praise this restaurant and the staff enough. My boyfriend and I had the most incredible night here, EVER! We were so lucky to find this place last minute.The decor is beautiful, from the bar, the dining room, to the smoking lounge. The manager/bartender/server for the night, Dylan, went above and beyond to give us a great experience. Our waitress was friendly and polite, we were even lucky enough to meet the head chef and sous. We also met the wonderful Jazz couple that performed the night we went. We stayed here for *hours*. No exaggeration!FANTASTIC FOOD AND DRINKS!! And for someone who eats at a lot of places, the pricing for everything was more than reasonable, especially for the quality. I still tell the story of my visit here, and i’m going to for years to come. I am so excited to go back with my friends and family. If you’re considering any restaurant in Southampton, for real, try Main Prospect.

We choose to do our event at Main Prospect because we heard how much people enjoy it!From setting the date with Gina to doing a walk through with Ben right into and through the event, we were nothing less then impressed! We loved the Main Prospect. It was part of a group birthday surprise for my sister. Everything was first class…from the initial contact, the fabulous meals for our group to the fantastic musicians (who were hard pressed to find a song we didn’t know!). Binh, the owner, really knows how to make you feel welcome…we could not have asked for a better dining experience. If you are going to Southampton…Main Prospect is the place to be.Parking: We arrived in a Sprinter Limousine and had no problems parking.

Not your typical Hamptons scene however the food was excellent along with the service. Kind of like The American Hotel in Sag Harbor kind of vibe. 2nd time there and just as good the second time as the first. Would go back in a second. The Jazz quartet was really good as well. Perfect volume to enjoy a meal.

My party was very excited to try this restaurant for brunch as the majority of reviews are excellent. Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience as the food was not prepared well and the service was not great. The poached eggs were more like hard boiled eggs and the food was over salted. The waiter was not attentive and it took an abnormally long time for the drinks and food to come out when there was only one other table seated when we arrived. The one meal that was not eaten was taken off the check which was appreciated. However, when speaking with the waiter about the food he seemed annoyed. He did not ask if we wanted to get something else instead and lacked interest in trying to rectify the issue. I truly hate complaining/sending food back so it was difficult for me to say something about the food and his reaction/lack there of made me even more uncomfortable. We left hungry. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and it is a nice atmosphere. It is a shame that the food and service is sub par as this restaurant has a lot of potential.
