Great food and attentive servers. We shared a selection of tasty starter dishes. However, they were unable to switch on the heating and do much to prevent cold air blowing from the vents at our feet other than bring a welcome blanket to wrap our legs in. A primitive but somewhat effective solution. What price warm air?
First off, incredibly comfortable rooms for dining. Simply and tastefully furnished, tables are not crammed together and the space immediately put our party at ease. Started off with complimentary Prosecco as we were celebrating an anniversary that day and it was good wine! Since it was a drizzly gray day we dug in for a leisurely paced brunch. Wow. What a great experience! I was first introduced to Chef Payard as the pastry chef at a private club. Mind was blown. So I checked out his restaurant and was impressed with everything - the service, the menu, the creativity, the atmosphere, and the incredible food from start to finish. Do yourself a favor and check it out.
