“I'm late to the party but I'm glad I've arrived. Delicious, special, creative and beautifully made food in a gorgeous space with great energy and people who gladly serve what they proudly make. Not your typical Thai, and thank goodness for that. Pad Thai is the best I've ever had. The shrimp entree is also amazing. The fried rice with crab is incredible. And even if you don't think you have room, the pandan dessert is incredible and will be on your mind for weeks after. If you're like me tho, you'll go back the following week and have it again.“

“Our first time going to the Totowa location (met up with friends for lunch). Staff was very friendly and helpful - we decided to eat outside and they brought the food to us quickly. We had the tacos, regular bowl with carnitas and fajita bowl with steak and pina-mango drink. Food was very tasty and freshly made. Will come back to try El Pastor. Definitely recommend Sombrero Tacoria.“

“Honestly, the BEST Mexican food I have had in ages (and I've had a lot)! Nachos, quesadillas, Italian nachos, chips/guac - all DELICIOUS. I highly recommend this place - I have only had it delivered, so can't speak to the atmosphere, but when delicious food comes delivered in a bag that has a handwritten note saying "Enjoy, LK!" you KNOW they have to be nice people!! “I found this place online randomly - reached out to Jeury - needed to order 32 meals to be delivered & named , also had about 5 “special requests” - our order was 100% perfect - every single order was prepared to a T - it was exactly on time, and phenomenal portion sizes for my hungry athletes - cannot say enough how great our experience was!! “After a miscommunication with our reservation time for 15 of us, Eliseo went out of his way to accommodate us as best he could. Dinner was wonderful, everything everyone ordered was delicious. I had the Korean tacos and they were so good. They also make the guac right in front of the table and was delicious, you get to choose if you want spicy or not. Highly recommend this place if you want to indulge in some Mexican food with a Mariachi band that takes requests on a Friday night. Our server Jay was a delight and he was extremely attentive to our every need. The decorations were beautiful! I loved it here and will be coming back soon!“

“I had beef, pork and tongue tacos. They were all great. Be forewarned that the little chili pepper and the green hot sauce are really hot. The prices are reasonable. You get four tacos to an order. It comes with little side of radish and cucumber. Onions and cilantro is already on the tacos. This is a Taco Truck and I think there was only two people in there. The guy taking the order and the cook so the service was a little slow especially with all the phone and online orders coming in. I waited approximately 15 minutes for my three orders of tacos. I wish it could be quicker but I think it's reasonable. I like the other taco truck that is in this neighborhood a little bit better, just very slightly period but this could be attributed to just familiarity perhaps. I'm excited to try a few other items on the menu in the near future.“

“I love this restaurant I come here for breakfast lunch and dinner I order the carnitas burrito for lunch and dinner and the steak and eggs burrito for breakfast every time it is delicious and fresh. What I appreciate most is that with your burrito they give you the veggies on the side so you can eat them with the burrito and in my opinion it is amazing I frequent this place all the time I highly recommend, the staff are extremely friendly and the restaurant is beautiful. I don’t usually leave reviews but this place is my favorite so I felt an obligation to get the word out. Anyways try this restaurant asap it is truly amazing and very quick as well even when eating inside I usually get my food in less than 15mins“

“Amazing! Did not expect to visit New York and find some of the best Mexican food I've ever had! Enchiladas are my favorite and every new restaurant I try, I always get it; these are likely the best I've ever had! So much depth and flavor. My husband loved his wild mushroom quesadilla and the sauce with it paired so well. The churros and sauce were perfect! Cannot recommend this place enough!“

Skip to the end for my tips.*** When we arrived, they were getting ready for a private event later that evening, but they still let us stay and eat. The owner patiently waited (and had to come back several times) because it took us a bit of time to make up our mind. Everything sounded so good, so it was hard to choose just a few dishes.We were very happy with our choices. Everything was delicious!- Shrimp burger - I already knew that the texture would be like a patty consistency of minced shrimp, but my friends were surprised because they were expecting whole shrimp pieces in the burger. I was a fan of the dill sauce on it, but if you don't like dill, maybe ask for it on the side? The dill taste and smell is strong, which goes perfectly with the shrimp burger.- Empanada Sampler - I wish I remembered what flavors were included in this, but everything was super good.- Mofongo Supreme - The mofongo was delicious and it came with pieces of cheese, shrimp, and steak. Definitely need to go back to try the lobster mac and cheese that everyone seems to be raving about and try their other dishes, as well, which all sound delicious.Tips: - There is plenty of street parking nearby and even a municipal parking lot to the left of the restaurant (if you are facing the restaurant).- It seems like a lot of people do take-out so that is an option, too.- We went on a Saturday night and left around 8:30 and they were supposed to be opened until 11:00, but they closed early for a private event, so maybe you should call ahead to make sure that they are open for guests or pick-up. Someone stopped by and was disappointed that they were closed early.“

We had the seafood soup, the virgin tacos( a true hit) the burritos( tortillas de harina) the fish filete came w rice and black beans and salad natural juices and all was simply great. “Was in Yonkers to get some paperwork and decided to get lunch before heading back to the city by train. I searched for food and Anselmo's Pizzeria & Deli was nearby. Initially, I was surprised on how small the place was but it was crowded (both tables were occupied and there was a line). Decided on getting two slices of pizza (shrimp and then cheese) and a drink. Both were excellent. Highly recommend the place but better if you takeout.“
