Good to enjoy a drink or 10 lol. Great environment and friendly. Food can be better in flavor. If you're going to go, enjoy the live band Friday nights. Great happy hour spot!

I've been gone from the island a long time. I always travel back for this joint. They are still amazing.

This Resturant has been a family favorite since I was a teen. Sangria is delicious and the food is even better. It’s a little cozy neighborhood restaurant.

I've loved this place for decades. This past week was there for beers and a small dinner with a friend. Wednesday night is jazz night. Always a good time. I enjoy experimenting with beers at Adobe. Someone there (maybe a manager) suggested a Kenyan beer that I hadn't seen before. Was pretty good.

3.5* What an interesting restaurant. My friend and I had gone to the Winter Lantern Festival at Snug Harbor [what a scam] and were looking for a place to eat nearby. Adobe Blues came up on the Yelp. We were intrigued, a southwest restaurant on Staten Island? Que? As soon as you walk in, the vibe is definitely Albuquerque, New Mexico. The restaurant is cozy, there's a fire in the back and various southwestern hangings on the walls. Shockingly, we were asked to present our vaccination cards [it is Staten Island after all..] but I don't know how closely the gentleman looked at it. None of the staff or servers were masked up. We were seated and given complimentary chips and salsa. This was actually very good. The chips were the appropriate amount of salty [good portion size!] and the salsa was chunky. The salsa was little bit smokey, a little bit sweet. To start, we ordered a cup of the queso dip [$5] because who doesn't love a cup of melted cheese? The queso dip was...interesting. It was definitely creamy and had a slight kick to it but something was off. Maybe it was the type of cheese they used. I had to ask for another basket of chips to accompany the queso. I had the bison burger [$12] which was nothing to write home about. I mean, the burger itself, cooked medium, was well spiced and moist. The bun was a good size for the burger and was fluffy and slightly toasted. That was nice. There was suppose to be cheese on it, which somehow never surfaced. The lettuce underneath was a little sad and the tomato was..a tomato. The accompanying fries tasted like they came from a frozen bag. They were pale and hardly salted, if at all. On the other end of the spectrum, my friend and I both ordered the fresh margarita [$12] with a salt rim. There was a lot of tequila in it, or it just wasn't mixed well. There was also a good amount of ice. Take that as you will. Splitting the bill, after tax and tip, we each paid $38. It didn't break the bank and we left satisfied but I don't think I need to come back [to the restaurant and to Staten Island LOL].

Good vibe and great Southwestern cuisine. Had the ribs and portion was just enough to leave the place completely satisfied.

Not sure why this place gets such rave reviews. Guess it might be the cozy bar and the long list of craft beers and IPAs. But table service and the food has been on a steady downward course for quite some time. The walls have some interesting things to look at .. and that's good because you don't want to look too closely at the food. The owner was there the last time I ate there a month ago, and I wanted to call him over and ask him if he could guess what I had ordered just by looking at the mound of glop and goo on my plate. The place has all the Mexican authenticity of a cantina restaurant near a frat house in suburban New Hampshire.

When you walk in, there’s nothing but white people. When you taste the food, you understand why.

The Margaritas were amazing. The food just does not seem fresh. I have seen some ofvtheir food i.e. mini tacos at Trader Joes.
