First time eating from here and I’m very disappointed with the food. In total it was $27 for a sandwich and mozzarella sticks and a can of soda. My mozzarella sticks were literally cold I had to microwave it and didn’t taste good at all for $10 mozzarella sticks which I find ridiculous. The Italian sandwich was okay nothing special. Delivery man was not friendly at all took over an hour to receive my food. When I called to place my order I was told 45 mins and when I realized it was over an hour I asked if my order has left I was told it’s leaving now and will be there in 3 mins. It arrived 10 mins later.. I’m at work and have a very limited time to be able to eat. I won’t be coming back.

Everytime I order from this place they get my order wrong. Today was the third time. I ordered a salad, they got it wrong I called and told them they said they’ll send it again. They sent it again the order was still wrong I called just asking for a refund. They only gave me a refund for the missing grilled chicken I paid for. I mean isn’t it common courtesy to refund the whole order since they got the whole order wrong not just refunding the protein? Order elsewhere and save your time. Sizing and prices are way off as well.

I’ve been ordering here for a while now, my bf always thought it was a little pricey but I didn’t mind because I really enjoyed the food and the salads were huge, now they changed the sizing I’ve been told, we ordered 2 salads yesterday which came up to 50 and some change with doordash and there was barely anything in the bowl, let’s be honest here people I understand times are hard but when someone pay 20 for a salad and there’s barely anything in the bowl that’s a problem, when I could get a good salad in jersey for haft the price… won’t be returning, it’s sad because I really liked the place, it was my fav place to get chicken noodle soup as well. I don’t know why change something that works “ guess too many people kept saying the salads were huge I actually ordered a salad from millers for 7.99 in the lunch special menu and it had more salad in it than what I got yesterday. Do better please.

Excellent panini the fresh mozzarella pesto peppers and I added tomatoes. Fresh. Just right. Nice delivery person all round great experience and for delivered food it tasted like in the restaurant. Thank you soooo much. It's so good.

I catered from them for my gender reveal party, I had about 30 people so I bought package 5 and there was plenty of food and even left over! Everyone loved the food, And the man who came and delivered it and set everything up was quick and efficient. Very happy with my service, will definitely cater from them again!

Very disappointed in Basil , I ordered two full trays of pasta (penne vodka) & added chicken cutlet to both. Was going to order online but decided to call the order in instead. When I hung up I noticed that they said it would be $56.51 at first I said this has to be a mistake why don't much for pasta ?! I looked online my online order total would have been $43.58 big difference if you ask me. So I went in and politely asked why the prices are different and was told the pieces were raised recently they honored the online price though, after leaving I looked at the menu that was attached to my bag of food and saw that their menu prices are $18.64 for the same pasta dishes I ordered totaling $37.82 ! So not only did they have a different price for over the phone ordered they had a different price for online orders & in store they offer a totally different price as well . This is disgusting of them to do to people. I get a little price raise but to have different prices all over is a shame. I would avoid this restaurant at all costs unless you want to be ripped off!!

Tried it 2x's and I will never be back again .... ordered a Stuffed Garlic knot Chicken Parmigiana sandwich ..... both times 1st time it was burnt.... so I figured I would give it another try .... bad decision on my part .... was sick thr next day from all the grease in it and for $10.00 o should of had at least a decent size piece of chicken .... there was hardly any meat on this sorry soggy greasy sandwich..... so I guess I paid for the fancy bag and menu .....

I heard great things about this place, so I wanted to try it. I had been craving shrimp parm, so I decided to check them out. I ordered the calamari (ok), shrimp parm with linguine (ok), the cheesesteak egg roll (wasn't a fan), and a personal cheese pizza (very good). If I was to ever go back, I would just stick with the pizza.
I heard lovely things about this restaurant and the food looked amazing so I decided to give it a try. Not one of my best decisions. The quesadilla that I received was absolutely horrible.I got a burnt tortilla with cheese that tasted like it came out of a can. Not interested in trying anything else on the menu. Very disappointed.

The chicken marsala is amazing! Portions are huge and the stuffed garlic bread is not to be missed! Great for take out !

Basil's is our new spot!! Great pizza and food! Finding good quality food at an affordable price is difficult to find on Staten Island. We are so glad that we were recommended here. It's been our go to every week! Our kids love the classic pizza and garlic knots and the adults love the artichoke madness pie! But everything here is delicious! Thank you guys for doing a great job.

Have ordered from basil many many times. Today will be my last time. I ordered the grandma pizza and the sauce was bitter and pizza arrived cold. I know that the cold has nothing to do with the restaurant but with the delivery person instead, but still, the sauce was unpleasant. And then it cost 26$ for sirloin steak marsala and there was so little steak in it. I do t know what's going on, I know times are tough because of the pandemic, but I ordered $167 worth of food and I was disappointed ?
