Nice and comfortable family business. Good decor and chill vibe. Staff affirmed that all the food was halal. They should clarify and understand the concern with hand slaughter though. Owner Sammi was kind and friendly. Bonus points for him letting me sample stuff and customize my order. Pitalk bread was unique. Wish it wasn't made of white flour though as its the most unhealthiest of all foods. Qofte, plescavica, kofte are the same meat in different shapes. I got the Qofte on his rec. Gulash was good and not overly salty as I feared. I do wish that there was more meat in there. Salad was nicely done! I just wish he had homemade spicy sauce on the side as I like my food spicier. Tres Leches was homemade. A little overly sweet with the caramel coating on it. Overall good experience. Looking fwd to try them again to have the borek there.
