Got the family feast for Christmas Eve dinner and my whole family enjoyed it even my picky son. It was a delicious huge selection of smoked meats including brisket, pulled pork, sausage, chicken, ribs and more! This place has the best cornbread I've ever had and the sweet potato mash is to die for. It's also a great place to go and have a drink and watch the game with happy hour specials. DaddyO's is one of my go-to's!

I’m not much of a review kind of person but I definitely felt the need to do one for this place. It was our first time here. We were met by a sweet hostess. The owner was there as well & took us to our table. We asked him what he suggested & left our appetizer choice up to him. Well food was amazing!!! My husband also left his dinner choice up to the owner as well…again it was delicious!!! Greg was very accommodating & friendly and made us feel right at home. My burger was co

I came today to try their new location in Bricktown on the south shore as I've been to their old location many years ago. Greeting and seating was very good and quick. The atmosphere was big and open, the bar area was nice with plenty of TVs to watch sports. I asked for ice tea, which they had none. I ordered mozzarella sticks ( only 4 sticks ) for an appetizer and they were delicious. They came with salsa which I thought was a little weird. I ordered Brisket and 1/2 rack of St Louis ribs with tater tots, coleslaw and corn bread. The ribs were basically Spare Ribs with bbq sauce on them. Felt like I was eating Chinese ribs. As you can see on the menu it never mentions spare ribs. The Brisket was very fatty and extremely thin. Felt like I was eating cold cuts. The other food was ok. When I got home I noticed on the receipt they charged me extra for the tater tots when It clearly says you can pick 2 sides.....coleslaw and tater tots. For a bbq restaurant this wasn't up to par with other bbq restaurants I've eaten at.

Went to the Charleston location tonight with my family and was really disappointed. This is not the Daddyo's I remember from the first location. The food wasn't terrible but it was not good by any means. If I have to put salt on smoked chicken this is an issue. What really for me was the fact that they tried to overcharge me on the kids meal (double charging me for the kids beverages) and also charging me for sour cream and butter for my baked potato which is ridiculous. I don't think we will return. I was really excited for this restaurant to be back on the south shore!!!

I went to the new location in Bricktown, ordering the half fried chicken platter. I was truly disgusted, the cook took a leg and thigh, cut it into 6 pieces, smothered it in a thick, gross looking batter and fried/baked/reheated it. 23$ for a leg and a thigh and when I asked how is this 1/2 a chicken the waitress shrugs her shoulders. It was mostly batter and fat, truly disgusting! The experience belonged on a Gordon Ramsey episode for worst places to eat. I swear everything was reheated in a microwave. Then they had the gall to hand me the bill without one apology for that travesty. I thought to myself "enjoy the money", it will be the last time I step foot in here. A joke for barbecue!!!

I'm slowly starting to become frustrated with the new location in Charlestown. 3 different occasions I have tried to go there to eat and on all 3 occasions, massive wait times. Not because the restaurant is packed or anything, but because there's no staff to accommodate. Tried to go tonight and again, place is not even half full. Spoke to a very pleasant greeter who advised that there was about an hour wait due to being "short staffed" and having a big reservation coming in and they don't want to overwhelm the staff. Going to corner house and juicy Lucy
