Used to be one of my absolute favorite places to get late night snacks. Lately every time I call to order pickup I’m put on hold for 10+ minutes and nobody comes back. Last time I called to place an order for pickup, I was on hold for 10 minutes before I used someone else’s phone to call. As a staple ice cream parlor in Staten Island, we decided to try out Egger's on a Saturday evening! There is a good amount of parking in the strip mall parking lot and the place wasn't too crowded when we came. This is surprisingly more of a sit down ice cream place where they give you a menu and take your order rather than the usual take out ice cream places that I am used to. Walked in and ordered 5 milk shakes, there were three girls behind the counter one on a power trip and the other two being screamed at which lead to my order made wrong and of course I didn't notice until I got home. So $45 later for 4 milkshakes and a piece of candy. I'm annoyed. We used to love eggers but the more we go the more turned off I am by this place. Nothing but kids working who don't know how to manage time or quality management properly.
