Thirty dollars for a shoe leather steak sandwich. After picking up the sandwich I was excited to get home and enjoy my lunch. But after the first bite, I was ready to cry. What a disgrace to cook and then serve a customer this.

Food is delicious, place is adorable and service was great. Love going here. Had a wonderful breakfast. They have a great selection. They are closed on Sundays (fyi)

Service- great service. Everyone loved the food but the bakery items not so much. Took home some rainbow cookies and put it next to the ones I purchased elsewhere. As you can see they definitely are missing the mark.

Food was absolutely excellent! Sandwiches were huge and delicious, and the meat inside was plentiful. I ordered the roast beef which is nicknamed the Coney Island, and it was fabulous.Parking lot is tiny, but they can’t do much about that.We ordered, and were told 20 minutes. A reasonable amount of time for our order. We arrived at the 20 minute mark, paid for the order and sat down and waited.20 minutes later, which is now 40 minutes after we ordered and been told it would be 20 minutes , I walked up to the counter and asked how the order was doing. She looked down at a bag, asked me what the last four numbers of my phone number was, and said that was my bag. When I asked why I wasn’t told it was ready and it was just sitting there. She said that nobody told her it was paid for. Maybe they need a lesson on communication because she’s 3 feet from the register and somebody should’ve told her the large order was paid for and they were sitting there waiting to pick it upAgain our food was excellent and worth waiting for but part of our order was french fries, and since they sat there, they were cold and soggy.

Filipino has decent, overpriced (around $15 EACH) sandwiches. However the bad outweigh the good. The lot is terribly small so you can’t use it. They are VERY slow so be prepared to wait an excessive time-definitely don’t come with any kids that can’t wait an excessive length of time. It is always loud inside the small cafe. If they make a mistake on an order they won’t acknowledge the error. The dismissive owner goes so far as to blacklist anyone that complains about the food. So if you want no parking, a long wait, unable to fix errors and loud establishment-this is the place for you. Staten Islanders definitely deserve better!

I recently realized that this place, which is close to my house, is affiliated with Royal Crown. So I tried it. It was absolutely delicious. The food is literally to die for. The chicken vodka parm sandwich was excellent, their philly cheesesteak sandwich is outstanding, their rice balls are great, and everything is just so good. As for the desserts, I think I have found the best slice of carrot cake I've ever had. It was divine. The Italian cheesecake was excellent as well, and their rainbow cookies were addicting. I've tried a lot of their stuff, and I have never been disappointed. The staff is also very nice. I think this is my new favorite lunch spot :)

While the food is good, if you get a dine in order get ready to wait a while- even if the place isn't crowded. Waitresses (specifically Nicole R) would rather pay attention to their phone & socialize with each other than to serve the customers. The food isn't cheap, then add in a 3.5% 'convenience fee' if you're paying by card and a 15% tip, I think the service should be better for the prices I'm charged. Also I ordered a soda that I never got. I'm not going back here because sadly my review reflects a few times I've visited & the service is always terrible and not worth the prices.

We love Royal Crown, so it's only fitting that Filoncino is five stars as well! They even have a decent sized seating area if you have the time to sit and enjoy your sandwich or dessert. Their chocolate bread is out of this world! And their sandwiches are sensational! They have such a variety to choose from, even if you're vegan! Their bread is just amazing! They have a lot of workers so the service is quick. Their parking lot is the only downfall, because it's always full!!! Xoxo

The only place on Staten Island that has amazing vegan options! This place has a great environment and impeccable food. Feels like a small dot of civilization on Staten Island.

What can I say, top notch! I have eaten food from Filoncino's quite a few times. I have to commend them for their customer service as well. Last week I picked up an order to bring to the hospital after my granddaughter's birth and received a call that my order (in hand) was incorrect. Not only did they call me (I hadn't opened the bag yet) they also credited me for it! Amazing!!! Now for the food! Absolutely highly recommend! Always fresh. The eggplant is awesome and the bread, well you must try! Let me not forget to mention the balsamic glaze; I put that sh*t on everything! In addition, the cookies (pignoli's are delectable), pastry's and even the homemade chips are delightful. I can go on and on, but go see for yourselves! Enjoy!
