This place is phenomenal. I was in the mood for Indian food and just threw it into a Google search and drove to this place. Parking in the back. Ordered Samosas and butter chicken with basmati rice. This is the closest thing to authentic Indian food that I've had in a while. Happy for the delicious food and great experience.

The main dish I had was chicken tandoori was wonderful juicy and tasty, one of the best. We ordered garlic bread and a crispi eggplant appetizer which was plentiful and very interesting. For dessert I ordered rasmalai that I order in every Indian restsurant. we got 4 pieces of soft melt in your mouth milk balls. Wonderful experience and very affordable too.

Service was really good. Only thing I didn’t like that he said “Americans usually…” assuming we are not American. But that was not intentional so I didn’t mind.As per food, from curry to lachi EVERYTHING is premade and meats are undercooked. So that’s < 1*.Atmosphere good. But they should have a blind white it’s too sunny outside so people can relax a bit while eating.

Hylan Curry and Grill is by far the best Indian Restaurant in the Staten Island Brooklyn neighborhood. The food is very tasty and always fresh. The ambience is good. The owner Prakash is a a great guy and always serving people and makes sure to take care of all guests at the Restaurant. The food quantity is very good for dinner and the owner always makes sure and asks for more “Rice” with no cost. The Buffet on Sunday is very well priced with lots of chicken, goat and shrimp or fish items. In an arena where most Indian Restaurants have cut down on the portions of food, Hylan Curry and Grill is opposite and serves good portions of food at a decent price. This place is one of the best in the area and I highly recommend Hylan Grill and Curry.Parking: Parking at the Rear of Restaurant and plenty of parking on the adjacent street.

The chicken and vegetable momos are to die for. I wish they'd give a gallon of the spicy sauce they're served with. The place is Nepalese but their Indian food is also very good. The restaurant itself is nothing fancy so it's not good for romantic outings, but great for food!
Visited this place for a group dinner party yesterday. The food was delicious with very friendly service. This corner institution offers good Indian/Nepali food on this busy thoroughfare (Hylan Ave) in Staten Island, NY. It has a small parking lot behind for about 6 vehicles, but there is lots of street parking available in the residential neighborhood behind. We were a group of about 65 adults and booked the place for our event. Will definitely patronize this place again!
We ordered for the first time and were so excited! I got the mango lassi, chicken biryani, and chicken tikka masala. The food was delicious, flavorful, not overly spicy. We did order online and the store had someone delivering the food but it did take a very long time. We had to call to check on the status of our order but the staff working there didn't really give us an estimate.

This relatively new Indian restaurant serves incredibly tasty food, and there are a lot of dishes to choose from. Appetizers, soups and desserts are also available. My favorites are butter chicken and lamb korma, but the list of favorites is constantly incteasing.

Excellent. Formerly Indian Xpress 2, Hylan Curry & Grill has been operational for about a year now. Stopped in for a quick bite and tried their fantastic lunch menu.Lots of vegan and vegetarian options, which is always welcome. The food was spectacular; it is a huge step up from Taste of India II in New Dorp.Will definitely be back.

So we've ordered from Indian Express and we very much enjoyed it. To the newer establishment, I will say that the interior is basic but it works. Their food was delicious. We ordered a garlic shrimp appetizer which was ok. Not expecting that they were fried and a bit overpriced but we got passed it. The garlic nann was a winner along with the butter chicken. We also ordered a vegan dish of cauliflower, potato and spinach. It was good but too much potato. We really enjoyed it and can't wait to try their Sunday lunch special
