A lot of comfort food. Very nice staff. Parking is the only thing. Enjoy the greek omelet.

Food was great, people were attentive until we were there for 45 minutes. The server told us that there was a line which meant hurry up but my friend was still eating! Then an older gentleman came over and told us they needed the table. (We were 2 sitting at a booth) We got up and left never to return! How rude! We were embarrassed! They should have made us wait for a two top instead of seating us at a booth. Such a shame because it is a cute diner, So heads up- only go there if you eat fast and don’t like the person you’re with so you don’t have a conversation!

Food was delicious. Service was ok they didn't bring all items included on menu and they don't accept credit cards. Luckily I had some cash on me.

Our go-to breakfast joint. Priced right compared to other places that don't taste as good or give you as much. Busser is always friendly and really makes sure tables are clean and you have refills on coffee, water, etc). Servers are usually busy and give you enough attention. This isn't fine dining, and it's SI (IYKYK), and a diner, so I feel, it's all good. Pancakes always fluffy, French toast delicious, and always leftovers from the make your own omelet we always get. My only issue is that they only have regular milk or creamers (but that's a me issue, so I bring my own milk from home! Lol) We're always so eager to eat. We forget to take good pix before we start chowing down!Vegetarian options: You can anything without meat. Don't know about vegan.

I only picked up an order, but the staff was polite, and the food was good and reasonably priced.

This is a small, cozy, well run coffee shop that is often packed with locals who know the staff and menu long before they walk in the door. The menu is small and fairly basic, but everything is very fresh and well made. Great coffee, french fries and sandwiches! The turkey-bacon BLT on rye is a personal favorite, but they also have great corned beef & pastrami as well as the expected ‘egg-pertise’ to be a great place for breakfast! Expect a bit of a wait around breakfast time & lunch on weekends. After dozens of meals here we have never left disappointed!

We visit every Sunday after services, coffee is very strong and food is well cooked and always hot and fresh. The place is small and sometimes you might have to wait for a table but it is well worth it.

Coziest and most nostalgic breakfast spot in Staten Island. They have a great breakfast special 6a-11am. Food is good and well portioned, prices are generally reasonable, more for some things than others.Waitresses is hit or miss, like people say here. Bus boys are very helpful. Waitresses depends who you get, time of day, and their mood.People have written about how harsh they are about seating full parties. That’s not a bad thing, but they’re not cordial about it.Lastly, I was charged $4.50 for 2 hot waters, and $2.50 to have peppers and onions in my home fries. That’s fine but let me know beforehand.

I’ll start off by saying, some waitresses here are very RACIST and are very RUDE! If I could give this place 0 starts I would! I had chosen this spot because of the reviews to go have lunch after my wedding and luckily my sister got there first other wise, I would’ve snapped at this person! This old white guy at the entrance told her she had to wait with a very high tone, after 10 minutes and a whole bunch of empty tables she went to sit down at a spot (she’s pregnant and has a huge belly so she can’t be standing for long periods of time). The same guy approached the table and said they can’t sit there and then said he clearly had given instructions to wait! After yelling at her and her husband as if they were kids he told them another waitress would help them and he sent a Hispanic waitress??? Like, why??? The Spanish waitress said he was very sorry for the other guys attitude but they stood up and left.Luckily they just opened a Tavern 9 months ago a block up this street and we had a blast at this other spot but I would say, AVOID ISLAND COFFEE SHOP, ITS NOT WORTH IT!
