You know, this place is really nice and exceeds expectations; like a David and Goliath story. It is a medium to large kosher supermarket and has a pretty good selection of kosher-only items. There are prepared foods and a bakery as well. Fresh fish if you want it. The butcher has standard fare on display but will also accommodate custom orders. New place. I thought I would check it out. it's a kosher supermarket . I was surprised by this one because it's big, clean, and reasonable with many, many items and nothing like the Brooklyn ones

Island Kosher is the BEST! The owner personally helps scan and bag items, thanks customers for their service, and always makes sure the customers are happy one way or another. You can’t find that anywhere else in NYC. The owners bring Israeli flair and brotherhood to the environment. The store is super clean, bright, and they have the most colorful and beautiful produce section. Everything is tasty and freshly stacked because there is so much turnover.
