Mona Lisa Pizzeria has to be one of the best pizzerias on Staten Island. Their specialty pies are top notch and definitely unique on an island filled with pizzerias that all make the same thing. For me the dough they use to make their thin squares is delicious. Has a nice chew while not being hard or crispy. For sure doesn't taste like everything else. You have to go with the gold medal square or vodka square. Clean place, with even better service. TIP: Ask for them to make your slices HOT as mine are usually lukewarm. EAT HERE!

I’ve been a long time customer and over the years they have delivered me cold pizza 70% of the time even when I order a pie mind you I’m a 4 minute walk away it comes cold and finally after today I’m never ordering here again I ordered pasta that took over an hour to come and they brought me a leaking mess of a bag that the second I opened went every where and made a huge mess of my house on top of that the delivery driver got annoyed when when he asked me for napkins and i didn’t have any witch he probably needed because the bag leaked every where yet he still delivered me the leaking bag and then they replaced it and brought the wrong pasta back obviously no one at this store cares the food is good but they seriously need better staff they don’t know how to heat up pizza and over the last 4 years I’ve had so many issues and have stoped eating here but then end up going back because there’s not much other good pizza around but after today I’m never ordering again this place could easily get 5 stars but the service is just consistently horrible I’ve gotten cold pizza more then I’ve gotten warm pizza it’s nearly ever hot and I’m up the block I’ve gotten pies shoved to one side of the box old rubbery chicken and now a bag of leaky slop. It’s sad to see what was once one of my fav pizza places go down in quality so badly over the years but I just can’t bring myself to order hear any more

Would not recommend at all. The Buffalo chicken roll was not good at all, the bbq pizza was so dry and was on the thickest bread ever. The plain slice is exactly how it sounds, plain, flavorless and was soggy. The Sicilian was okay but not something I would ever come back for. Honestly, this is some of the worst pizza we have had in Staten Island. We are from Brooklyn and really enjoy good pizza, and this was awful and such a waste of money. Would not recommend this place to anyone.The only good thing about this place was the sweet girl who took care of us.
My pizza delivery box came with a ripped seal. When the driver delivered it to me I was very skeptical. I did not feel comfortable that my pizza box was not sealed. I called the pizzeria spoke to a gentleman and he had told me he open the box because he wanted to make sure it was going to the right address and wanted to make sure that the pizza was the correct one. If that was the case, he should have resealed the pizza box with a new sticker seal and never should have sent it out that way. He blew me off the phone and did not care about my concern. Therefore, I will not order or dine in with this pizzeria again.

I takes a lot for me to write a review..good or bad. Everyone always complains that people write reviews or bad mouths a business without taking it to the business first. But I did just that and here's how that went. I'm fuming. I ordered Mona Lisa after debating between them and Villa Monte. My daughter went to get the order. Nothing crazy, we figured we'd split a hero (potato and egg). It was $1.00 more than VM, but whatever. I wish I took a picture of it. It was half the size of VM and had barely anything in it. It was actually pathetic. I called them and they said they would immediately send another one. 5 minutes later they called back to say they needed the original one back. I already started eating it. So now they weren't going to send it. Just bad business. Awful!

I’ve been gluten free for 9 years now and the pizza from Mona Lisa is hands down the best I’ve ever had! LOVE the vodka pizza.Dietary restrictions: Tons of GF options: pizza, pasta, sandwich rolls. I’ve had the pizza and sandwich bread.

My husband and I started ordering take out from this pizzeria a year ago. Best decision we made. Their Italian cuisine is exactly. They make garlic knot and pannelli sandwiches that are delicious! The have excellent appetizers and entrees that are priced right.
