By far the best Pizzeria on the island. I just heard on the news that they are closing this Friday, for good. I'm so sad to hear this. ?

Consistently excellent pizza with a little bit of heft to the crust and the perfect amount of sauce and cheese. Very attentive service and a comfortable, clean dining room. A longstanding, for over 50 years, favorite of mine.

Grew up on this pizza place, among others. Actually went to the intermediate school right now the block. Is it as good as it used to be? Maybe. But they have had some quality control issues from time to time. Every time I visit home, we order Nunzio's, and every time we get it just a little different. But let me tell you, when they're on, they're on

For us who eat Halal, we don't always have much variety when it comes to cuisines outside of middle eastern and subcontinental Indian, so finding a Halal Italian place is a nice change. Even then, that's no excuse for Nunzio's not stepping up it's game. I'll admit, the Hawaiian Pizza is pretty great! Generous chunks of pineapple and Turkey "ham". It's a pizza I've wanted to try my entire life and I have to say Nunzio's delivered on the expectation. A classic, sloppy NY slice for sure. Side of meatballs were also delicious! The loaves of freshly baked bread were perfect for mopping up all the sauce. From here, the experience was slightly downhill. The "Baked Ziti" was definitely not baked. Pasta that was barely boiled (extra extra al dente) with some melted cheese and eggplant parm...normally I'd say it was a huge plus getting so much food for the price, but when it's a lot of not great food hard to still feel that way. The chicken parm sandwich was nothing special, might have been microwaved frozen tenders dowsed in sauce. Then there was the guy taking our orders. I'm sure he wasn't trying to be rude, he just has an abrasive comedy style, but for someone I've never met before it was off putting and felt rude. When I go out to eat, I expect to be treated kindly, not ROASTED for asking "does this come with meat?" I might have come back for the pizza and meatballs, but with that interaction I'm not so sure anymore.

Great thin crust pizza. Fresh tasting tomato sauce and nice ratio of sauce to mozzarella .

Ordered 2 pasta dinners and it was horrible.... pasta was more like soup... I know they get good reviews but this is the 2nd time I tried them in the past year and still dissatisfied. Never again

Just picked up my order and got a burnt surprise pizza pie . Called the manager to see if they can do something about it . He stated that we took too long to pick up the pie and that's why it got burnt! So he says it's my fault for picking up late.lol . Not sure how this is my fault but I would think if you are the one's cooking it then it's your fault not the customers.Great customer service

Pizza Perfection at its finest! Old school recipe . A must have if you live mid island.

Ok so I am a pizza snob so my review will be short and sweat. I have only gotten slices. The pizza is akin to what I grew up with. Thin, great sauce and superb cheese. Parking is tricky. Go past and park in the shopping center to the left of the take out entrance. Nice restaurant in the back. So the review is limited but service and slice were great. One last note. I was driving through Staten Island on the way home from Boston to Va Beach. Absentmindedly I was wearing my Cam Newton NE Pats jersey. Even with that faux pas the servers were cheerful and nice. Limited review gray slice
