I pre ordered 2 bagels here online for pick up. When I got there I asked for napkins. Whoever was working refused to give it to me because I didn't type it in the pick up order online. I then asked for a straw and that was also a big issue. Because of this I will never come back here again. I can't believe they were giving me a hard time about napkins for the food that I purchased. The MOST stingy place I have ever been to.

I've been going to Pio for several years. Great, fresh bagels and egg sandwiches. My go-to for breakfast. Don't have any complaints but expect to pay 7+ dollars for a Bacon Egg Chess bagel type sandwich.

I've obkt has emdelivery and tbh it's not far from where i was and it's taken well longer than expected to actually be completed and given to a delivery platform. I don't know. I didn't like the BEc sandwiches. I didn't love the bagel or flavored cream cheese and it left me wondering what they hype is all about. In the warmer months I'll give it a 3rd try and not be lazy and update my review of tien to prep and enjoyment.

Just got told i couldnt have a toasted bagel because “the toaster is off” never heard that in my life. the grill i understand. a toaster is a small appliance you press a button to turn on. so lazy. been going here since in 15, never

Great neighborhood spot with friendly workers and fresh daily bagels. Always clean and the line goes quick. I hardly ever have to wait no matter how many ppl are there. I love the coffee & mini cinnamon raisin w/cream cheese. Good amount of cream cheese to bagel ratio!

My “go-to” bagel spot for more than 5 years. Excellent, big bagels. Best breakfast sandwiches (especially bacon egg and cheese). Highly recommend. Joe runs a great store!
I ordered a sausage egg and cheese with hash brown on a roll. I saw them microwave the sausage and toast the hasbrown in the bread toaster for less than 30 seconds. I thought to myself to cancel my order and walk out but I thought maybe they know what they are doing. Worst sandwich I have ever had. They used to take their time, cook their food on the griddle and serve customers. Now they are just trying to push customers quickly out the door. Not worth it.

I used to love mikey bagels in tottenville. But there bagels over the year have gotten tremendously small and way over priced. I came upon Pio Hot Bagels and the line was out the door on a friday morning. The Bagels were fresh and delicious and the cream cheese was so good. My new bagel store

I have been going there for years. I spent at least $30 a week buying sandwiches and bagels. One day I went in I was my usual sandwiches. I also wanted to add a toasted bagel to my order and they told me they can't touch the bagel without me, putting anything on, I'm not sure why they know me as a good customer when I told them they just lost me as a customer. Plenty of bagel stores around in our neighborhood. I spoke to the owner about it and he seem not to care

I see it's always busy in there, so I gave this place a try. The good is that the bagels are fresh and a great size. I got two plain, $3 - excellent price! The bad part is that I asked for them sliced. I have hand issues - literally raised them to show the workers - and was on my way out so I couldn't chug along my bagel slicer in the car with me. What a huff and puff to get the bagels I bought from this place sliced!! The young lady, who was very nice, was helping me and had to ask permission to cut them. Never in my life have I been met with resistance for sliced bagels, and for workers to have to ask permission. And it wasn't a dozen. It was 2!! Not to mention the man that was asked permission had a less than personable demeanor. Smug, made it known he was not thrilled about my request and said they would only do it for me today. I looked around for signs regarding slicing the bagels, and there were none. Perhaps put one up - maybe even in the front window - to prevent people like me from having to ask and having a whole ordeal ensue. Customer service and quality of food are everything, and this was so unpleasant that it's enough for me to not come back.
