Sal made my son’s birthday cake and it was amazingly delicious and he’s so talented with the decor. Highly recommend this bakery and pastries were delicious as well. Thank you Sal

if I could give zero stars I would: they were absolutely disgustingly rude. they did not accommodate my requests. they have zero customer service. i drove over an hour to give my business to them and I will absolutely never do that again. I have told all my friends and family to never go here again.

Sal's Bakery is one of the best around Staten Island. Sals is a great place to go and they have excellent staff. They do amazing cakes for all occasions. I have gotten baptism cakes, birthday cakes, gender reveal, smash cakes and so much more and they have never disappointed us. We just ordered another Baptism cake for next month because we now get all of our cakes here!

I've been to many bakeries in Tottenville and this ranks #1. Love their cheese danishes gigantic and great price! Their rolls are huge and each one is cheaper than anywhere else. All natural ingredients! You guys are the best! Love you Sal you the man lol. You know how to do it right! No one comes close!

I bought a cake here and it came out beautiful but I place a last minute order yesterday and the lady I spoke to on the phone told me I had to leave half a deposit but I didn't have the card on me and I told her I would call her back in an hour . I had already told the girl I was on the phone that I'm picking up a cake I previously order. So regardless I had to come in and get my cake. I was running around doing a lot of stuff yesterday and it would of been appreciated if the lady told me if you don't put half a deposit you will not proceed your order. I come today thinking that it wasn't a big deal since I was already picking up my cake so the lady Sophia (very kind and great with customer service) helped me out in so many ways. I asked for 5$ off since I couldn't get exactly the theme I wanted and the lady Christina started bugging out on me, calling me a liar basically saying how do I know she didn't inform you about the deposit. Which she didn't I don't need to lie and get someone in trouble. And I was extremely grateful for them doing it last minute. humiliated me in front every customer that was there and told me I'm not making the cupcakes and went in the back. Very poor customer service and ruined my whole party . If I had time to go get another cake I would of return this one .

I hate to leave a negative review on a local business however I had such a bad experience. I ordered a custom cake over the phone and provided pictures. When I went to pick up the cake they could not find my order, that's when the front end staff went to the back to speak with the manager. They accidentally had the date incorrect and said it was scheduled for three days from now. They offered to have the cake made for tomorrow which would not have helped. I said ok well we have to have a cake so I'll take a standard cake from the case. All of a sudden they said they could work on the cake I would just have to give them 4 hours which I did. They did not offer delivery and I had to miss over 2 hours total of a party I was hosting to pick up the cake twice. The manager did not speak to us or offer any apology. The front staff seemed inconvenienced.
