If you you're looking for a 5 star date night experience, this is it. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The environment is festive, decorative and well kept. The food is great especially the guacamole, it has a unique flavor profile. If you want a place where you are well treated and respected with amazing food and music I highly recommend giving Sofia's a try. You'll love it so much it'll make you want to comeback.

It's changed dramatically since it 1st opened we had steak taco very little meat with green rice it was a boring meal, pastor burrito was bland, and my mother in law was disappointed with her birrias tacos super greasy and bland we had no alcohol bill was $100 I've given this place 3 chances , NO MAS!... there's a corner Bodega on Bay Street a few blocks away that makes awesome burritos for half the price

Review for those with any allergy to gluten: I’ve been given flour tortilla with my tacos instead of the 100% gluten free corn tortillas I asked for twice! The second time I just returned them, but the first time I trusted that I got what I asked for. Be very careful.

The food & atmosphere is amazing. Servers are very attentive, especially ours, Panda. He was always stopping by with a smile making sure everything was ok & recommending the best drinks. He’s 1/2 reasons why i only come to this spot & the second is well obviously the delicious food. Everything is prepared fresh & well done. If you’re looking for a laid back, everyone is family, great food type of vibe then this is it. Come visit!!
Love Sofia’s! We’ve ordered through DoorDash multiple times & they never miss. We’ve gotten personalized notes on our drinks & excellent dinner & desserts. Honestly, in this day and age it’s hard to come by good customer service so we appreciate stellar places like this.

When i tell you Adrian my waiter was so pleasant. He made sure i had an amazing time and it was my first time coming here to this spot . I got the chicken and shrimp fajitas and my brother got crab empanadas but the experience as a whole is 5/5 I will definitely coming back again. I have family from Texas that love Mexico and visiting Mexico and the food.They visited and loved this place as “Texas-Mex”.We usually order out and I pick up and bring it home.My time dining in… the staff is very friendly but they seem to think every night is Friday and Saturday night and so they blast the music like it’s a teen to early 20s crowd, which makes for a bit of annoyance when trying to have a conversation with my wife. (The birthday girl)As of 10/17/24 they no longer serve the lobster tacos which were AMAZING…Overall the quality of the food has gone down noticeably, since they began very quickly opening restaurants all over Staten Island and New Jersey.

This place was cute and amazing. It has a main floor and a 2nd floor. The food and drinks where delicious; however my server/waitress took a long time before they came to take me and my spouse's order. But other than that, the atmosphere is dope, the music was great and everyone was enjoying themselves. Also they add the gratuity (Their Tip $$) at the end of your bill. Our bill came out to about $160 which included the entree -steak, hash, and chorizo x2 and x4 margaritas. Not bad.
