Unfortunately my first time visiting. I set my hopes too high. The two cookies and biscotti were very HARD and dry. The lack of flavor esp. The CCC The two cupcakes were awful, frosting was NOT buttercream, cake pretty dry. Never again!

This is without-a-doubt the best bakery on Victory blvd, and the coffee and pastries are uniquely delicious to the rest of the Island. Every time I’m here I can’t help but get boxes full of croissants or desserts to bring home.I love the coffee prices, the only spot in the entirety of NY where coffee isn’t insanely overpriced, and the tastes exceed expectations every time. Especially the Sweet Life’s Coffee of the Day flavors which are always exciting and different from the last. It’s a very comfortable and cozy place that invites you to come in to read your book or take a seat with a coffee in hand by the storefront window.Grace and Gene and the employees have done a fantastic job with the place and the shop wouldn’t be so welcoming if it weren’t for them.If you haven’t stopped by The Sweet Life’s Bakeshop you are missing out!

Gluten free options as well!! Delicious, literally every single item in there looks and smells homemade?

Was a convenient stop to pick up road snacks driving out of NY. Parking wasn't clear so I parked across the street for this quick stop, and thankfully didn't get ticketed. Coffee $2+ (mini) Pear walnut loaf+ (mixed) Nut cookies15.14They'll quote you the cash price so if you're paying with a card, anticipate some tax. If I'm nearby again, I'll try some banana pudding that other Yelper is raving about.
My friend with a Beard Loves this Place! (Bob). He runs at full speed down Victory Boulevard to get his delites! :-)

One of the only places on Staten Island you can get reallly good gluten free treats! I love the gluten free almond sponge cake and the chocolate chip cookies- doesn’t taste gluten free at all ?

This is the best bakery in Staten Island! The owners are very accommodating and they have the best cake and coffee prices. Highly recommend.

Food is great. Don’t go here if you have a nut allergy though. Asked if they had nut free options, they said they did & my friend ate a cupcake from them and had to go to the emergency room.

I loved this pastry shop as soon as it opened. I would stop by after church every Sunday. Pastries are great and the cappuccinos amazing. Sadly I will no longer stop by for any purchases. The owners are very unfriendly and they almost seemed bothered when your placing an order.
