What a great night!!!! Last night my business club had a private wine making class at Vino Divino. Rob and his staff where extremely knowledgeable and so nice. The food was delicious and the wine was great. The craziest part about my experience is that I personally know Rob for over 20 years. Anytime I’ve needed anything from a donation to The Bini Fund or advice on a good bottle of wine he always took the time to educate me and never said no.Rob has always invited me to make wine, but I never made the time. What a mistake for waiting 21 years and not doing this earlier!!Wow, what an experience!!!!

I have been making wine here for over 12 years. The owner is hands-on and very personable. He treats you like a friend every time he sees you, and is very reasonable when you ask questions about how to achieve the wine-making experience you want.Don't worry if you don't have enough people to do a barrel. He can help you find other's who may need someone to join up and help them cross the finish line, and you make new friends along the way!If you aren't into wine making, this is a great event space. Get on their mailing list. You will be informed of their mozzarella cheese making classes, their olive oil events, and their bi-annual wine parties, where they really go all out. I'm talking sausage and pizza truck outside, or maybe a BBQ caterer. Inside they'll have all the wine you can drink, meat and cheese options, maybe even a fresh pasta station. They also do private events if you call ahead. Don't worry about the vibe at any of these events. Just because it's wine-making doesn't make it stuffy at all. It is a down to earth space, where folks of all walks of life come through. It is a Staten Island treasure you need to experience.
