I am so blessed to have this place open up down the street from where I live. I have been vegan for 7 years and the vegan options on staten island are slim. Owner is cool, staff is friendly, and the food is fantastic! Spectacular effort by the owner Tariq to uplift the community through real clean vegan food! Very friendly staff that takes the time to explain things to you and offer suggestions based on your preferences. I went in to try vegan Mike's specials. Food is a little bit pricey but it's only right to invest in your body, it's the only one you have got. Impressed with their Whole Foods and non-processed ingredients. Make sure you ask for the jerk sauce they make in house if you want your food a little bit spicy like mines. Special thanks to the owner for making a late custom modification to my order! Wishing that much success and growth in the future!

Macaroni and cheese are not fresh cold in the bottom warm on top it does not taste fresh for 7.00$ it did not taste fresh potbelly putting in the microwave I waited for my macaronis and cheese in about 6 minutes and it was no customer in the store took too

Love, love, love their smoothies & juices. Service is great as usual! I called back because I had messed up my order, there was no answer then they had called me right back!! I recently picked up watermelon juice and a dragon fruit smoothie. I also ordered a chocolate chip cookie (had it before so good) but they ran out. It was replaced with a peanut butter cookie and the guy also threw in a muffin due to the inconvenience. I believe it was a small banana walnut muffin and all I can say is !! It taste like something you would eat if it wasn't healthy lol! Flavorful, fresh and satisfying! I've tried salads from there which are great as well. I will take more pics next time I go! Haven't tried the whole vegan experience for other times yet, will update! This place is so clean but there's no where to sit it is more for just pick up :). There's a few items around the store for purchase too!

I ordered the chop cheese today. Tried vodega for the first time and I don’t think my chop cheese is supposed to be this spicy. Taste like someone spilled black pepper by accident! I couldn’t finish it and threw the other half away. Also she wrapped my sandwich and handed it to me I had to ask for a bag which was a Little odd.
I recently visited Vodega for the first time, attracted by the positive reviews. The service was excellent, and the energetic ambiance created a welcoming atmosphere. However, as a non-vegan trying vegan food for the first time, I must admit that the experience left much to be desired.I ordered their mac n' cheese, hoping to be pleasantly surprised by the vegan version of this classic dish. Unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The mac n' cheese was disappointingly dry, lacking the creamy texture I associate with this dish. To make matters worse, there were burnt bits scattered throughout the dish, which significantly affected the overall taste.While I understand that vegan food can have a different taste and texture compared to traditional dishes, I can't help but feel let down by the quality of the meal. It's possible that this particular preparation may not be representative of the restaurant's overall menu, but based on this experience, I cannot recommend the mac n' cheese.Despite the food being unsatisfactory, I appreciate the opportunity to try something new and experience a different culinary perspective.Overall, the service and ambiance were commendable, but the mac n' cheese left a lasting impression on this first-time vegan food explorer. If you're willing to explore vegan cuisine and experiment with different dishes, this might still be worth a visit, but approach the mac n' cheese with caution.

Vodega is god's gift to vegans! After struggling to find anything vegan on the Island, I was desperately in need of food! That is when I was blessed enough to come across Vodega. Let me start by saying - VEGAN SOFT SERVE AND SPRINKLES. At the time of my visit, they were out of swirl and chocolate, but I can't even complain, considering how amazing the vanilla soft serve was Next, VEGAN BREAKFAST ALL DAY! (Sorry, I am very excited for the selections offered here). My bacon, egg, and cheese was out of this world.I tend to be a little ocd when it comes to food preparation, but my mind was at ease seeing how well-maintained the store was. In addition to being friendly and helpful, Keaira used gloves between taking and making orders - which warrants a ten-star rating from me!I can honestly say that Vodega is one of the best plant-based deli and grocery combo that I have been to in my 15+ years of being vegan. And that says a lot coming from California where there is an abundance of vegan food. Vegan or not, I HIGHLY recommend checking out Vodega! They have a huge selection of delicious food at a very reasonable price!

Visited Staten Island last weekend and decided to have a picnic. I ordered a PB&J, grilled cheese, BLT wrap, tots & cookies for my family. Everything was great. Tots were seasoned so deliciously that we didn't need to dip them in ketchup. I ordered online and everything that needed to be was warm and ready. I like how easy it is to customize your order online. The flavor of the bacon was delicious, it's a thick slice not similar to regular pork bacon. The portions are great for the price. I would definitely go back to try something else and the ice cream also.

first of all the service was very unpleasant, flies were flying all over the café or deli. I saw the flies going on food and right away I felt uncomfortable. Also, there were no paper towels in the bathroom.
