We came on a Saturday night and were seated within 5 minutes. Signs on the front door directed us to enter through a side door. It looks like in warmer weather they have seating outside which looks fun! The staff was friendly and the restaurant was fun, busy and we enjoyed the live music. The kids loved the chicken fingers and fries and the black bean soup. The Birria quesadilla was crispy and I liked the flavor. I didn't actually care for the Birria sauce (tasted like it had cinnamon in it) so I was glad they brought that on the side. We liked the tacos, too. I would pass on the Elote bites, they were too sweet with too much breading. The chips and salsa were good but overpriced. Overall would recommend.

Much of this authentic Mexican fair and other dishes are always well prepared and good size portions. Prepare to be patient, No reservations and they get very busy certain days of the week. But always worth the wait!

Love the wood paneling and wood fired stove. Great food and who can beat the "only bar in the only Stephentown on earth!Parking: Getting to the dining room is a bit confusing. It's in the back... The way back! It's really not too far. Just follow the signs past several doors until you get to the actual entrance.

Went here on my birthday. Wonderful food. I ordered the chimichanga, and it was delicious. If I get a chance to be back in the area I will be making it a priority to stop in and dine here.
We got the birria quesadilla and the chicken enchiladas. They were beautiful and delicious. We got the empanadas for an appetizer. They were ok, maybe a 3/5 (overcooked and not super flavorful). The place was very busy and it seemed like there was a hostess, and the lone server was also the bartender. A random male also came to the table a couple of times and offered to bring drinks (right after we put our drink order in). I am guessing that he was the foh manager trying to be helpful on a busy night. Overall, we'd definitely go back. Also, they were one of the only restaurants open on Tuesdays.
Update!! This place is awesome. The music tonight was on point. Thank you for the great dinner. ?What a wonderful meal we had last night. ? amazing place with even more amazing employees. ?

Super disappointed. We were looking forward to going all week. We drove a half hour to have lunch there. We arrived a few minutes before opening. Watched an employee come out and put the open flag out. Waited until 12:05 to enter in case they were still setting up but the door was locked. Waited until 12:15 and still locked so we left. I can understand opening a few minutes late if you're still setting up but still not being open 15 minutes after opening? And you saw customers sitting in the parking lot. Really disappointing.

We went to dinner here last night (1/7/24) and had a great dinner! There must have been an accident nearby in the snow, which caused there to be 1/2 power in the restaurant. They had candles and small battery powered lights which made for a dark but cool dinner. There were still a fair amount of people in the restaurant and the service was great, the place from what we could tell looked cool too! My brother had the chimichanga and I had the burrito. Both were the beef barbacoa, which was REALLY good and highly recommend! We also had the queso and chips which was spicy and good too. Got a pitcher of house margarita which was also really good! Will definitely be back!

Holy guacamole! My husband and I passed this place countless times and today is the first time we stopped. YUMMM. the most surprising deliciousness was the beautiful fresh salad with watermelon and fresh fixings. Cheese curds with Chipotle rach was a home run. We had the tacos the chorizo special and the meal was divine. We ended up getting more food to go. Only constructive criticism is we couldn't figure out how to get inside at first (thank goodness we figured it out because everything was amazing.) If you haven't been or pass it without stopping like we have YOU'VE GOTTA GO!
