“Stopped in a bit after two pm seeking coffee and perhaps a baked good after an early morning start and a long drive to/from a jobsite. Even though it was past 2pm, Paige the owner smiled and welcomed me into his restaurant, offered me coffee and a delicious croissant both of which I then enjoyed outside in my truck. He was super personable and cheerful even though the place was technically closed. As a weary traveler on the road since 630am from Catskill to Kenoza Lake and back with my energy reserves serious failing, I so appreciated his kindness in selling me coffee and a seriously delicious 'made in France' croissant after hours. (He explained that they are shipped frozen from France and he bakes them on the site - delicious!) I'll be back for a less rushed sit down meal when I can.“

“We frequently drive an hour and half round trip to pick up dinner from here. It is the best Mexican food in the area, by far, and is always worth the trip.Their tortilla chips are so delicious that we get a double (or triple!) order to snack on the following day. Some of our favorites are the QuesoBurros and the Mulas De Col Rizada. The steak tacos are very good. There are dairy and gluten-free options, which we appreciate. We were missing our favorite taqueria in East Palo Alto, CA but Upstate Taco is every bit as good. We feel lucky to have such a great place close by.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free and dairy-free options available“

“The staff make this chain a better stop than most. They are kind and friendly to kids, and the rest of us too but wow. Really nice and accommodating to kids. I saw 2 kids under 10 get service and help from 3 people who gave them the experience of being important customers and treated as though they were any other customer with kindness and respect as though they were an adult. It was refreshing to see good people give kids a chance to be "normal" and yet treated well.It may seem small, but it made me happy.“

“My wife and I came for a Friday night dinner. We made reservations last minute and glad we did as the place was packed. Service was high quality and the folks were very warm. The food and drinks was insanely good! The Rasta pasta was delicious and we enjoyed our leftovers so much. The jerk wings were so tender and the dry rub was spicy and flavorful. We were lucky to meet the chef Chris briefly and he was very kind. The cafe and provisions store is also really great. The coffee was tasty and the breakfast sandwiches were dope right before a hike.“

“Super cute! Everyone was so nice there and the cats were adorable. Very reasonable prices for drinks and to sit with the cats. All of them were approachable and comfortable around people. You can buy treats for the cats (bring quarters!) and they had many toys and climbing areas for them. Will definitely be returning!“

“First time visitor here. This is a cute little coffee shop and the perfect place to sit and read or relax for a little while. My tea was very good, as well as the butter pecan scone. My issue was when I was leaving, I had asked the two baristas behind the counter if I should leave my cup & plate there and got no response, just a blank stare. I ended up walking away after a few seconds, and upon that I heard one of them say “there’s a bin over there” and gave me the strangest/“are you stupid” look as she proceeded to put the cup and plate in the bin. I ended up being so embarrassed as the two girls behind the counter STARED at me as I walked out, completely mortified, when in reality a simple response would have sufficed. This experience makes me never want to go back.“

A healing experience and reason to have hope when nearly every other business manipulates us with greenwashing. Communities must support such treasures as Lagusta’s Luscious.I tried and loved:Marzipan cookie (was not aware my taste buds could feel this much)A peachy tea special with oat milk (AHHHHH! SO GOOD! I wish I knew the name but order literally anything and im sure you’ll be blown away!)“

“A really nice coffee shop off the beaten path in New Paltz. They have a good menu with all your typical drinks with some seasonal specials. I highly recommend the amaretto and campfire specials. They served baked goods and food and both are fresh and tasty. It is a smaller space with limited seating. I personally love the back porch. It is a bit colder outside, but the view makes it worth it. Service is decently paced unless it's Uber busy, then it could be a bit slower, but it's not anything too extremely long. Staff are quite friendly. Would recommend“
