please work on the food quality as I am trying to support this place- Wings were so dry and an order is now 16 dollars- can't see how they will stay open at this rate - rest of our food was really awful as well. I had to lower the original rating as I am truly so sad to see this place go so downhill.

ordered food for take out last night. service was less than acceptable. waitress had extremely poor attitude. if restaurant does not have enough servers, that should not be taken out on patrons. food was sub par. all fries in order were burned and soggy. fried clams were burned and hard to chew. this was actually the second time we did take out. don't think we will return. very sad. Just trying to support a local business.

Quintessential dive bar with slightly elevated ambiance and a forgettable menu of pub food that fits perfectly. If you're into hoisting a beer, catching a game and reaching for your ancient tube of Clearasil as an antidote to the grease, what can I say, you're home. Four solid stars.

Trashy place. Terrible food! It was inedible. The service sucked to put it bluntly. The ambiance?? There is none! A bunch of nasty drunk men. As a woman, I'm never settling foot in there again.

Where to begin.... Sad to say this place has always been a favorite for my family and I and now unfortunately we will no longer be returning. Firstly, our waitress was clearly inexperienced or not trained properly, as she walked away and came back to our table at least 3 days because she forgot something. It was very obvious she was not confident and it made us very uncomfortable. Now we were a party of 4 with 2 children under the age of 3. We started off by putting in a order of Mac and cheese for our 2 year old not only did it take 30 minutes but when they finally brought out the Mac and cheese it was just pasta with red sauce. Luckily we had the pleasure of sitting directly across from the kitchen so when we sent it back we could her the chef yelling about the mistake, very unprofessional. 1 hour into our dinner we still has no appetizers that we ordered or entrees. At this point we asked our waitress to see a manager and she proceeded to tell us there was no manager or boss working... how the hell do you not have a manager on a Saturday night??? Than she said she will get someone for us and a very nice man came up to us, he said he was only the Bar tender however he handled our situation very professionally, we explained the situation and asked him to just cancel our order at this point. Unfortunately we did not get any of our food and waited over an hour. Very disappointing as we never had an issue with Sutter's before. From the service down to the yelling in the kitchen and the long wait time it was more than enough for us to decide never to return again. I truly will well for this place and hope they get more organized and efficient.

They advertised new menu and we believe in supporting local business. This is NOT the Sutters of yesterday. Terrible from start to finish. Bartender dressed like sloppy. Tank top and shorts??? Really?? Sat down and waited 10 minutes for the 1 waitress to help us. Dining room was fairly busy and she was alone. One bus boy didn't pay attention to us. We finally placed our order for drinks. Vodka tonic was flat! I complained only to find out the tap was broken. Wings were over cooked and dry. Holy crap Sutters , you're known for your wings and these were terrible. Little cups of blue cheese dressing? Not even in a dish?? French onion soup was thick, cloudy, and tasted like it was out of a can. Oktoberfest special Roumelade. Different so I tried it. Terrible. Red cabbage was out of a can and mashed potatoes from a box! Yuchhhh. The bus boy didn't even clear our table when bringing our meals. Asked for a glass of Pinot Noir and was served Pinot Grigio. Only to find out they have no Pinot Noir. Ugggg. Bill came and was charged for 2 drinks, and glass of wine. Never going back again. It's a shame because Sutters was a good local spot. No more! Other guests agreed with us.
